Easily one of the most unique levels in all of gaming. When the Outsider gifts you the timepiece (as casually as a one may give a kid a cake on his birthday), it shows you JUST how "Outside" all of space, time, and existence itself the Outsider truly is.
Have you played Titanfall 2 before? The level Effect And Cause utilizes the same mechanic, and is just as enjoyable of an experience. Would definitely recommend that game just for the puzzle levels.
Man It tooks me a full hour to find this, I had this music in my head all day and was trying to find it. I knew it was an Arkane game but was thinking it was Prey cuz I knew it was in a "strange" moment of the game and that game got many of those moment. I listened to the whole Prey ost then thought maybe it was in the void in dishonored 2? It was definetely strange but still not that. Then suddenly Eureka :)
I hope you’re talking about the player with the time piece being the unwanted one because I always thought how crazy it was seeing either Corvo/Emily in front of you one moment and then they’d just disappear to whole other timeline

Probably my most favourite background tune in all of dishonored games, is just so monotone but dark and unsetting at the same time
