Amazing im from Belize im knowledge in pdc
Permaculture is clearly not about "becoming native" like is said in the video. If that were the case then only species native to that particular eco-region would be propagated. Some of the non-native species being grown will very likely spread into wild areas thus still causing ecological disruption, possibly even extinction of some native flora/fauna. I'm beginning to think that humans can not really exist without permanently altering the ecology of a region, unless that is they live exactly like local tribesmen, only foraging and hunting native species.
true, we need to look towards the Indigenous people who not only fit in with nature but helped cultivate her, and they should be our model
