    You really nailed the greens with RGB vivid. Very impressive. Close to ADA RGB.

    So if I want to have good plant growth and really good colors is WRGB/RGBVIVID enough or do I need to get 2 lamps - one with more lumens (like A series) AND one WRGB/RGBVIVID just for colors? I know that fertilization makes difference as well. Im asking for the best effect.

    • @Nitidus
      @Nitidus 3 года назад +2

      That solely depends on your choice of plants and on the aquarium. You can go after the "lumen per liter" value as a reference, but an RGB with less (let's abbreviate) "lpl" can be better for plant growth than a stronger lamp with a different light spectrum. I'd generally say, don't mix lamps. Especially not the WRGB which can be adjusted. Get two if needed, but that's more for larger aquariums.
      Rule of thumb would be: with 50+ lumen per liter, you can keep pretty much any plant and also get it to become really red. Just never forget that CO2 (around 20-30 mg/liter if you also keep animals) and fertilizer is needed. Type and dosage of the latter of course needs to be adjusted based on the other two factors (light and CO2) and the needs of your specific plants.

    From the video, I think that RGB60 has better greens compared to WRGB (WRGB has better reds and yellow), X400 is the brightest but has the drawback of looking a bit washed out. RGB vivid seems like the most balanced out of all of them.
    So my suggestion is, if you're in a mid-tier budget: for green scape = RGB60, for scapes with a lot of red or yellow = WRGB. If money is not a problem for you, better go for Vivid. But if you have a deep tank or have a lot of high light plants go with X400.

      Is a scam the profits are like 5% of the price in china, trust me don't buy it. Buy Lights by Kessil, and other stuff buy from other brands. I can prove by seeing the prices in china.

    I understand lamps where set to all power. For me WRGB looks the best, but maby i would just add some red to A601. "Vivid" is too much candy, and x400 is too bright (pale white), Rgb is like vivid les power and too greenish (look at rock).

    x400 too white, wrg60 too yellow, rgb less yellow than wrgb60 but it's also slightly green. out of these 4, rgb vivid is the winner because it's bright yet the colour is great for all plants. slightly blueish, but it not very noticeable.

    • @stardust9072
      @stardust9072 2 года назад

      so the best one is rgb vivid, then rgb 60, wrgb60, and last is x400 in my opinion.

      The coloration could be manually adjusted via the app. At least for the WRGB that I'm using. I would just slowly manually change the percentage of each of the colors individually until the entire thing looks pleasant to my eyes.

      Both. I'm starting a high tech 40x40x40 and I'll be using one RGB30 and one A401 plus. The first gives the full spectrum of light and the second a great light intensity whit the good amount of lumens.
