Love what you do brother. Love your playing and your ability to teach your amazing skills. I just found you so I’m in. I’ll be sharing your channel. It’s the shit. Thank you again sir. F
Great insight Have had my head in mixing major/ minor 3rds, harmonising double stops and country bends with double stops. Great to see you just play it and don’t explain too much. Seriously nice twang from your Tele too, A vid on your custom teles would also be interesting . Thanks , cool stuff
As soon as you added passing chords up the neck I instantly heard the Beatles "... though she was born a long long time ago," - and back down "... your mother should know ..." etc. And I'm also hearing some Marvin Gaye with this. Point being that this is super versatile, not just country. And it's free ! LoL ! Thanks Matheus !
Thanks again Matheus. Your instructional videos really help me put it all together. Keep up the good work! One thing I do want to point out. I know you really like that guitar (I believe its made by your father) but it's hard to see the strings against that type of neck. You may want to use a different guitar for instructional videos that has just a plain maple neck so the strings are more visible. Anyway, great job! You're awesome!
Another amazing lesson here. I notice u often end with these fast licks that end on a low string. like the lick on 05:28. Maybe u could show us some of these ideas in the future, sounds like there are allot of open strings and chromatic notes in these ending licks. I have no idea how to play any of this or the theory behind it. Thanks for the great content!

Wow, Matheus. (3:46) I practice that same scale, but I've not heard anyone put in those percussive bass notes before. Maybe i just didn't hear it with the whole band playing. But it sounds awesome with you playing by yourself. That's something I'ma gonna hafta master! I'll start doing it today! 👍 👌 (Later) I tried that "percussive" thing, can't do it nearly like you. I'll continue to try... but it's nowhere near like you do it! Gawd! (End) That was a good collection of licks. Some I knew, but you added a nice flair to them. I'm still not nearly as fast. But... Thanks!
I was wondering on your right hand for your picking technique if you use your fingers only, or grow your middle and ring fingernails long or use press on nails? The reason I asked is just using my fingers with no nails just flesh it hurts like hell and can only do the hybrid picking for a little bit till I have to stop.
@@wendelllatimer4146 I do use my natural nails on my ring and middle fingers, they’re not very long, so I still use a bit of flesh I guess and I do remember it hurting when I first started until I had some calluses haha
You and Yao Ming speak similar versions of the American English language... I men this as a compliment. Thanks for the very effective and inspiring twang lessons.
Love your lesson but let me know when Nashville producers and labels start making REAL country music again instead of the POP crap they’ve been turning out the last 20 years!
Listen to Zach Top. New young country artist who’s making real country music. He’s a great chicken picking guitar player too. Alan Jackson’s producer is also the one producing his records
Brother we can’t see which string any of your fingers are on.That neck color and your skin color are camo’d out. Can’t see anything. We can hear everything, but I’m one of those that has to SEE to learn.
I’m sorry to hear that, I do these lessons for free with the best of intentions. Now I finally purchased an expensive 4K camera, so please consider subscribing and maybe joining my patreon so I can keep creating content and sharing these lessons with the best quality possible. You can slow down the speed of playback on RUclips videos, maybe try playing back at half speed and zoom in. I dont wanna sound rude but i personally didn’t have a hard time learning this lick off the video.
Very good lesson. I knew the double stops harmonizing the scale.just didnt really know how to use it.

Or maybe develop some strings anodized in verdigris ...
Man, that has got to be the most beautiful tele I've seen! Is that a maple Birdseye fingerboard or is the whole neck birdseye maple? 🎸 🇨🇦
It’s really beautiful! Check out Hc Guitars on social media. It’s birdseye maple fingerboard and a dark brown pine neck. The body is paulownia. 🤠🎸
@@matheuscanteriThanks for the reply I will definitely check them out! 👍 🎸

Is this an Epiphone tele?,.....nice piece of wood😊
It’s a custom guitar made by HC Guitars, check out their page on Facebook and Instagram. Amazing guitars and fair price!
How do I book a lesson?
What kind of pick are you using? It
Looks like a felt pick. Is it just a typical ukulele pick or is it
Something special? Thanks
How can I get lessons on face time ?
Awesome thanks for the reply I’m giggling a lot myself Here in Orange County California ,,I will email you soon thanks again. 🙏
i can do that if i want to....i just dont want to!
That pick looks awfully thick. I have never seen that. lol. Maybe it's an illusion.
Haha it’s pretty tick! It’s the”Heart Attack” model by Anatomy of Sound picks.
