Changed both my rears shocks this weekend thanks to your video, thank you. Great video and made my job cost $120 instead of $450 at dealer. It took about 25 minutes per side and way worth it.
Hell yeah! that's what I was thinking my girlfriend's car is bouncing all over the place & I was like damn if it's that easy I'm doing that shit later today lol
Thank you it is so helpful, I am at the repair shop right and the one who assisted me doesn't know that those screws underneath the mags.Good I had watch your video. Thanks a lot.God bless🙏😊
If you are wondering the torque specs are 18lb for the top mount bolts and 80 for the bottom. Or as torque was explained to me... half a turn past snug for the top, and 1 grunting turn after it feels tight on the bottom one.
Hi chris I have learn a lot from you guys . My ford have a knocking sound but i cant tell if its the bearings or the struts How can i tell the difference?
I recommend bringing it to a Ford car dealership for an estimate, so they can tell you what they would do. Then you can decide whether you want to do it yourself.
You didn't show how to loosen the bolt holding the shock to the assembly. That is actually the most difficult part of this otherwise easy operation and is covered by the woman from the A1 Auto video. Should add this to your video for completeness.

How much is this job?
Around $450 @ the dealer... Around $120-140 for the parts. I'm doing my girl's car today
Mines was stolen an replace with worn out ones so pissed off how easy the thieves did this over night
Thieves removed your struts and replaced them with old parts? Wow, those are very considerate crooks!
@@bt7482 yes man i know its that shop down the street from my house smh
Lmfao are you serious?
