i love galarian moltres but i don't like the beak much. It's good that its different just not my style. Same with the others like how galarian zapdos can't fly while kanto zapdos is all about spreading wings and galarian articuno has a weird shaped head and eyes.
FYI, the move that raises Physical Attack by 1 stage and Speed by 2 stages is called Shift Gear. Autotomize raises speed by 2 stages and makes the user nimble
The "winner" didnt actually win because meternome is a luck based move. Also the galarian birds would easily lose against their counter parts seeing as how the regular forms have way better move coverage

This is just a personal for me, but when I saw the Galarian birds typings for the 1st time I was kinda bummed that they all kept their flying typing, like, I was kinda hoping that it'd be: G. Articuno Ice/Psychic, G. Zapdos Electric/Fighting, G. Moltres Fire/Dark. But I still love them how they are and the designs are awesome!

Articuno has this going for it over the Kanto form: No 4X weakness, Only 2X weak to Stealth Rocks, Has one more resistance and a 4X resistance, Has an overall better and way less situational ability that is easier to build teams around, A cooler design, It hits a lot harder and is faster, Can learn Recover and said move doesn't have the flying type loss drawback that Roost has, Gets STAB for Psychic-type moves, which can be paired with Psychic Terrain for greater damage, Can put foes to sleep with Hypnosis, Can transfer status ailments onto other foes with Psycho Shift, Has more type coverage if you don't count transfer moves, Can learn more support moves, such as both Reflect and Light Screen instead of just Reflect, Has access to Calm Mind, A cool signature move, A better shiny variant(even though it's shiny locked at the moment), Has more personality than the Kanto form, Has a much more interesting encounter quest, Not in battle, but it has the power to clone itself.

Easy, I love Galarian Articuno better. I liked regular Articuno most out of the original trio and this one just elevates that. I don't think I can ever go back
I have to say that personally I find the Kantonian Articuno to be more appealing, looks wise. I find that the mask on the Galarian form ruins what is otherwise a nice, sleek design. Plus it's typing is wrong in my opinion.. In fact, I think that the only Galarian bird design I like more than the original is Zapdos.. and even then, I still don't like it's typing. I think the birds should've all kept their original typings, added their new ones as secondary typings (so Ice/Psychic, Electric/Fighting and Fire/Dark) and had the ability Levitate..
I'm glad this series has returned. The Galarian Legendary Birds look so good in their shiny forms; I hope they become available soon. And I agree, battle videos need to return in future games.

I don't like the Galarian form as much because it looks so arrogant and I feel like it's over-world challenge wasn't implemented well. It dissapears randomly, making it impossible to chase, rarely shows up near the castle it flies toward in the cinematic, and essentially makes you have to refresh the wild area repeatedly to get it to appear near Registeel's lair wich takes you out of the immersion.
I just hate the fact that it completely ruins the "Legendary" aspect when you take into consideration that there were enough of the "Legendary Birds" in the wild to that some migrated & Legitimately Evolved. This would mean 2 things. 1.) There has been a sustainable population of normal Articuno/Zapdos/Moltress living in Galar for at least near a million years. 2.) Gamefreak know modern legendary Pokémon suck & look like Digimon.
Galarian Articuno is beautiful and gained a Personna. But as Ice-type is my favourite one, I still vote on the Kantonian Articuno. But if the Galarian forme was Psychic/Ice or Ice/Psychic I would prefer it. Ice/Psychic would work better in my opinion. Articuno is based on the Simorgh, the Persian God Bird of the Winds and the Cold. It lives at the top of the ice-covered Alborz Mountain Range. So, a magical Ice Bird would be better represented as an Ice/Psychic... But unfortunately, it was not on my decision. And I think Psychic/Flying is redundant. As a magical bird, it does not need to fly anymore. Instead, it levitates by using his immense psychic powers...

yeah, between the possible hail, the psycho shift, and it's puzzling roaming and double teaming, it's really hard
I personally had a hard time with Moltres. The fucker kept flying too far so my bike couldn't catch up to it. I had to try to get ahead of it.

Prior to this gen. Growth only increased Sp. atk by 2 stages IIRC
