Hearing this song reminds me of the summer again, when I got Forever If Ever - TWICE, and seeing Jon in concert for the third time, most recently at The Bowery Ballroom. I love this song! And yes, if he's selling a deluxe package of Promising Promises, I'm getting it!

@RalfsLab Don't be like that...you clicked this video thinking it was John McLaughlin, it was a different person with a similar name, & you didn't like what you heard. That's totally acceptable, everyone has different music tastes. But he's not ruining anyone's name. He's his own person with his own music career. Like it or not, this man is very talented & is a genuinely nice guy. See him play live or check out some of his other (and I'll admit, much better) music, & you won't be disappointed.

I have Forever If Ever, have completely worn it out..great great album. I had no idea that he's re-boxing it..any info on the new album? same songs? remastered? I'm assuming he got picked up by a major label so they're redoing it? I preferred the original version of this song, but this one is not too bad either...I'm probably just use to hearing the original version so that's why I'm partial...anyhow, looking forward to seeing what the new album is all about. Jon is the man.
