- In this episode, I show how I route control cavity, make an ebony control cover, route pickup cavities and route neck a neck pocket. I glue the neck in, install a wraparound bridge and prep the guitar for finish.

I really enjoyed that, the cocktail stick tip was brilliant
It was a bit short and sweet but pressed for time to get this done.
I also do that when I'm carving the back of the guitar, I can fit the control plate with the cocktail sticks and carve contours in it to match the contour of the back with gouges, or angle grinder. Give it a go it's quite reliable.
Cool build. I'm also a fan of Hamer guitars.
LOL I'd never heard of Hamer guitars before this comment and I just looked them up, I guess it looks pretty similar to their archtop, looks like they do a few nice double cuts, so thanks for sharing. Coming into this I was shooting for something between a custom 24 and a macon dc
Love the burl on the top. Can’t wait for the next stage to see it come to life with colour. ❤️
Thanks Neil, if you follow me on instagram, you'll see a bit more progress, I've already got stain and 4 coats of lacquer on it. instagram.com/p/CQDxAxVFPFb/

Hello, I am trying to build very much the same PRS that you are building in this video, I am using a Graph Tech wraparound bridge, it has the two adjusting pins and there are screws to intonate each saddle. I was going to set the low E side of the bridge 1/8” back from the scale line, did you do this or is what I am doing not necessary? If set it back from the scale line how much do you set it back?
Thanks for your help it is greatly appreciated, love your videos and channel I am subscribed and please continue them they are very informative and you build some great guitars.
Best Regards
Maurice
1/8" is a bit far back IMO, I normally set the bass side of the bridge back by about 2mm, I think your closest imperial measurement is probably 3/32"
