- I have never been out on a canoe camping trip this early into spring. The ice was out and so was I. This was a fun trip, it was good to get out there again!
Thanks for watching, I always appreciate it.

With our extremely mild winter I was able to get out on my earliest canoe camping trip ever. This was a fun trip, I was a bit rusty but I survived 😅
Brings me right back to my youth. Thank you for taking us along.
Perfect spot. Thanks for the videos. 🔥
Another good one Buddy. After all that hard work preparing firewood you definitely deserved a nice relaxing break and some good food. Always enjoy your videos. See you on your next adventure. Have a great week.
So glad you're still making videos. It's been a while since I watched them. Amazing production. You deserve your own TV show!
Ha thanks for the kind comment. I wish I could make more videos but life gets pretty busy and my family comes first.
The "Pickle" is back in action! Weird year for sure...warm really early. Another great spot...that breakfast looked fantastic! Thanks for bringing us along, look forward to more adventures.
Thanks Jason. The breakfast was good but the cleanup which was not on camera was not very good!
Looks like the perfect spot Dave!
Thanks Jon!
Oh hi Dave its nice to see you back out in another camp out in a beautiful area . Sounds like you have some awesome camping trips planned looking forward to them. Indeed packing up does suck always hate doing that , Thanks for bringing us along Dave . Stay safe adventure on. watching from Ontario Canada .
Thanks Sue, yep the packing up is indeed the worst part...maybe I will just stay out there one day!
Love it. Your paddle in looked so peaceful and I love the overhead shots. We love using a cot as well it;s just so much more comfortable. What kind of cot were you using? thanks for sharing.
Great vid, love the shots and angles.
it's going to be a great paddling season! Looking forward to seeing more adventures
Thanks Derek, I just watched your latest video it was awesome, good for you. I am planning my first ever trip to Algonquin this fall so I may have some questions for you.
Great video, Dave. Looking forward to your Algonquin trips. Heading there myself for the May long weekend.
Thanks. How was your long weekend trip? I am looking forward to my trip to Algonquin in the fall, I am still planning it.
@@DavidNorthFilms it was great. Perfect weather, no bugs. Posted a video a couple days ago. Heading to Achray on a boys trip in mid-October. Lots of North Frontenac trips before then.
Nice I will have to check out your video. Have you explored Fawn Lake at all?
@@DavidNorthFilms i’ve exported in the Canoe/kayak. Caught some bass, but didn’t camp there.
Greetings from Alberta. Yup it’s definitely time to camp. No bugs, and the tent doesn’t need a portable AC. Great spot and no souls around, Noice! Any bike trips planned? The multi day canoe trips sound like a blast, the single day trips I find to be a lot of work. The Pickle!
Thanks. I have a few bike trips planned but not until the fall. I love camping in the fall, it's beautiful that time of year and less hot! Ya single trips are good but I still have to pack so much gear, I might as well stay for a few days!
Great video buddy! Was just out on a 4 day trip with the Unigear tent aswell :D
Thanks, was it the same tent as mine? I really like the design of this tent, quite unique. Where did you go on your trip? Thanks for the note.
@@DavidNorthFilms yeah the same color to! 💪 It's really good. We where at our lake camp in Gothenburg Sweden. 😃
I have just discovered your channel. actually u encourage me to travel. but Idk where should I start , what should I bring with me and which materials must be quality etc etc. I subscribed to ur channel and waiting videos about that. thx bro , good luck
Thanks for the note. I would just start out small and bring what ever materials you have with you to start. Then you will figure out what gear you need as you get more experienced. You don't need expensive gear to get out there an explore. Good luck.
@@DavidNorthFilms I'm thinking of leaving for Africa in 6 months. Are you thinking of making such a big trip?
