Amazing quality for such a small channel. It's also nice to see someone that stops and checks out spots like you did with the fallen trees, it's much more interesting this way. Definitely advise against sleeping this close to rivers and creeks. The wind either travels along with them or hits the treeline next to them, goes downward and pushes warm air away from the ground (windy 24/7).

Looks like fun but a bit windy especially the next morning. Please keep these videos coming. For us older folk, it's nice to experience camping through your eyes and lens.

You really need to watch RUclips videos on camping and fire building. Since you are not doing high miles , consider taking a folding camp stool / chair. A lot of energy and calories are wasted on your campfires, that fire ring did nothing, cut your wood in longer pieces and burn in half. Put less wood on the fire and don’t put all your wood on and go to bed. None left in the morning. If you are going to do this you HAVE to get a sleeping pad or pads. I suggest a closed cell and an are mattress. Spread out your sleeping bag as soon as you set up the tent and it will regain its loft and be much warmer. Put down a layer of large wood and build your fire on top of that . Your filming , video and sound quality are top notch. You should ditch the saw and get a better hatchet. Sleep with a toboggan / beanie hat at night. You will be much warmer, one last tip. Don’t set up your tent on any incline at all, you would be surprised how many people do that and slide downhill into the tent wall and often rip the tent wide open. Every trip is a learning experience.

Disregard all the awful comments on your winter camping videos bro. You're not putting yourself out there as an expert and everybody starts somewhere. In fact, maybe this can help convince other newbies that they don't have to be afraid to just get out there and try it (within reasonable safety limits). Working out the kinks should be done in warmer conditions, but you learn a lot pushing yourself to the point of "the suck."
