  • A man allegedly murdered his wife and made it look like a suicide. Matheau Moore, 51, stands trial in Delaware County, Ohio.
Wife Emily Noble, 52, was last seen on her birthday: May 24, 2020. She was reported missing the next day. Her body turned up in tragic and grisly fashion the following Sept. 16. She was found hanging from a tree in a wooded area near her home. There was reportedly a 20-inch USB cord around her neck. There were multiple injuries to her head and neck. Authorities determined that this was homicide.
Noble was so badly decomposed authorities had to use dental records to identify her.
Prosecutors argue Moore killed her and staged the hanging. He faces charges of murder and felonious assault.
Moore’s previous wife Lisa Pedersen told WBNS in a June 2021 report that he once choked her when she was pregnant with their first son. It was New Year’s Day 2001, she said. They had been married three months.
“He came over, and he did, for some reason, he ended up, yeah, putting his hands around my neck,” she reportedly said. “And he started to choke me.”
It was the only time he put a hand on her, and they kept in touch throughout the years, Pedersen said. Though they maintained contact, she noted that he, contrary to contemporaneous media reports, claimed to be participating in the search for Noble.
“Once the details were made clear to me, I started to lean toward his guilt,” she said.
Both of their sons are now dead, according to WBNS. One of the children reportedly died at 17 by hanging in a park the summer before Noble’s disappearance.

People shouldn't be convicted of murder based on the notion that they aren't acting a certain expected way or because they seem suspicious to you. There should be evidence. Although I do suppose the bloodthirsty masses are an important part in the equation when we're talking about the importance of due process.

I thought the evidence was there. Four different experts examined her remains and came to the same conclusion. They didn’t know who she was , who Moore was initially, they just had the body. If she did it herself, how was her face damaged? And her neck? She was too light for it to come from self inflicted hanging. The experts testified to that. And all the people who said how did he carry her? She weighed about as much as a child. And there were far fewer people outside then, due to quarantine. Why did he have her phone? I think the defense gaslit the jury. Their expert relied on data from the ‘90s! And how was she objective? Defense just used punitive tactics to undermine their understanding. I found it sad. Before she had ever been located.,,,I know on the first interview he referred to Emily 3 times in the past tense and I believe on the second one it was 2 times. Question yourself why if your wife was missing ...,and your cell phone kept ring non stop why he never took the time to look at it to see who was calling...because I would have checked it every single time to make sure it wasn't Emily his wife, or in my case if it had been my husband if we wee still married. Pay close attention to how he moves things around in the garage each time him and the police office go in after the officer has gone out to his patrol car. Your going to see a cooler with a extention cord and then your going to notice a red flashlight that wasn't that at the beginning. gut feelings and stacked inferences violate the very mechanisms that ensure our right to the presumption of innocence by holding the state to its burden of proving guilt beyond and to the exclusion of all reasonable doubt when a person’s life and liberty are at stake.
69% of dna exonerations obtained by the innocence project have involved eyewitness issues, and let’s not forget that one of the state’s main arguments, john kramer’s testimony, was related to this exact problem.

The fact that the judge took time to consider the motion for judgement of acquittal is very telling, as this is usually denied outright. Had this man been convicted on this thin evidence, it would set a poor precedent in our criminal justice system. We don’t rely on innuendo and speculation here. We require evidence beyond a reasonable doubt, and in my opinion it was not even a close call. I hope the people complaining about the jury verdict are never on trial for a crime.

They didn't search them until he had ..had time to was each piece of clothing and his shoes and then wear them again so that nothing would be found that would have put him at the scene. This case was handled poorly romancing the beginning. The fact of him changing the times he woke up to how long it took him to go back to sleep. To in the first and second interviews referto Emily in the past tense. In each of the interviews he talk about Emily being meticulous about keeping everything clean and that everything in the house had its place ...he almost sounded like it made him angry that she was maybe a neat freak and wanted everything picked up and put away. Remember the cooler and the big deal he made about the orange cord laying on top of the cooler ..just on and on that Emily would have never left that laying there..or left the cooler sitting there. Dud you pay close attention to the things that were changed in the garage during the first interview.. every time Matthew and the first officers interview each time they went back into the garage something was different.,,did you spot the red flashlight that wasn't there then boom it was there. Tell me how many times did Matthew refer to Emily in the past tense in the first and second interviews? What was his fascination with his continuous need to tell each offer and detective about how small Emily was.,why was it so important for him to keep reiterating that. If you were matting your phone just kept beeping ring to the point that the officer asked you what is that ringing and Matthew saying oh its just my phone. If your wife was missing would you not be looking at each call or answering them in case they were Emily or smarting to get in touch with you about your wife. During this first interview his phone dud this through the entire interview. The police department failed Emily.

I’m really happy for him, there was no evidence that tied him to her death, her fingers were gripped around her own ankle meaning she wasn’t staged in that position once she was already dead. I felt that he got really depressed and started drinking a lot when his son passed and that’s why he was in that room until late in the am…I think he was embarrassed to admit it was a regular occurrence and not a one off. God will straighten him out if he was to blame, but I really think justice was served in this verdict.

I do not know if he is innocent or guilty but what i do know is that Emily deserved better.... either way.... if they truly believed he is guilty, they completely failed Emily by bringing such a weak case to trial....again, she deserved better....
