Fair, I can understand that tea is not for everyone . *BUT* . I have a feeling that the whole country of British will gladly pay a visit to Bettel's house because of the things he said 🤨
Bettsy: I don't like tea _Fair. Tea is up for someone's preference--_ Bettsy: Tastes like filtered pond water. _Okay buddy boy, you've gone too far now. It's okay to not like something, but to shit on it is a fucking paddlin', you better not cross the fuckin' line..._
So no one wants to question why the fuck he knows what pond water tastes like? Both filtered and unfiltered??? I mean, it's on brand for him but still!
I'm with him. I tried some tea recently (I think it was a lemon honey one) and it... existed. It really just tasted like dirty water. It didn't have enough flavor to be interesting, but it also had just enough flavor that it lost the refreshing taste that plain water has. It wasn't exactly bad, but why would I want to drink something that is worse than plain water? Maybe if the tea had a stronger flavor I would like it, but currently it exists in the weird middle ground of too much flavor and simultaneously not enough.
If it was from Nestlé, that may be why. Usually loose leaf teas tend to be far better tasting. Tea is also really fickle with the temperature of the water it was brewed in and the time it was, and it varies based on variety. Water too cold? Next to no flavor. Steep too long? Now it tastes like swamp water.
@@apollogarvan9446 I don't think it was from Nestle. It was part of some "Teas of the World" thing I ended up with after a Christmas gift exchange. Also, I doubt steeping was an issue since the tea bag sat in my cup for around 20 minutes before it cooled down enough for me to drink (seriously, why did I use the cup that is really good at holding heat?). I'm guessing loose leaf tea is tea made without tea bags right? Maybe that could be better, but it would need to add a LOT more flavor for me to be interested in it.
@@apollogarvan9446 Wouldn't that make it taste stronger though? When the problem was that there wasn't enough flavor then it doesn't seem like steeping would be the issue. Well, I'm far from an expert so if over-steeping was somehow the issue here then I'm willing to accept it.
@@kylerivera3470 oh I meant the swampy taste. If it was too light after 20 min, that just may be the tea itself. I used to not care for tea myself cause I often had to add sugar and it just tasted like the tea was just a delivery for sugar, or I'd need multiple bags.
Imagine living in a post avatar the last airbender world and not giving jasmin tea a chance because of your tastebuds. Even me that likes juices better, I honored Uncle Iroh by drinking when offered.
as both coffee and tea guy but also ex tea hater I can confirm if you have only known the boring normie teas (green, black, red, boldo, linden, chamomile) you will think all teas are ass (even tho you can do some nice things with black and linden tea and chamomile is not that bad if you sweeten it up a bit but I am talking classic, missionary position, heat up water put the bag in or the "mesh/stainer" thingie that idk the English word for) someone needs to hook this man up with some interesting friendly flavors strawberry tea, chocolate tea, peach tea as well with other ways of consuming tea, even when in my tea hater days I would love those black tea + [a fruit] juice bottles, we gotta get him some milk tea, cold and iced teas too we also gotta teach him some teas just taste like ass depending on what you make it like there was this multifruit tea I got, it was the most FOUL concoction ever brewed when hot, it had a nice smell but drinking it was like drinking vomit
There is no way Bettel can tolerate coffee but not tea, maybe he's not making it right? Like i cant mentally comprehend that 😭 add sugar and milk?? maybe he microwaved the water ? ?
To be fair not all people can enjoy non-sweet tea easily especially if you are not tea enjoyer. I like tea but sometimes i still think some are weird taste. I think non tea people should just drink the basic black sweet tea bcs it tastes most basic and acceptably tasty
we need Stars EN offline collab talking about food and drinks, but everyone brings baseball bats just in case....
I know someone's gonna bring a spear instead of a bat...
or a Tempus sleepover podcast where everyone except Beetle have soap bars and long socks
Bat too. Winged one
Tf a bat would do against a spear? A boar spear to be precise
@@HeyItsHexcal (not)vampiric transforming VesBat? 😃😄😄😄
Vesper to his Manager: "I cannot stress enough how integral Bettel's exact address is to my next stream so just give it to me."
Vesper: *prepares spear with malicious intent*
Oh my, Spears!!!
Gavis is an absolute enigma.
His thought process is fascinating to see manifest
He's going to get a visit from one of Vesper's hired spider assassins.
Vesper : "it's time to put this spear to a good use"
And sword.
Vesper: 500,000 Simoleans to the spider who takes down the clown. A million alive, so I can teach him some manners.
I understood that reference
Vesties will bring this man to the Judge Magni court!👹
imagine a three man podcast with this guy, a man with horrid food takes
with an australian japanese axel
and a westerner vesper
Ah, the Jester vs Gladiator and Scholar Podcast, or the JvGScast.
Trash Taste V2
Bettel is putting himself on everyone's hitlist with his taste in foods
The fact he doesn't like spaghetti because he thinks you have to slurp it all up strand by strand kills me
Ohh Gavis must been in the lake once and drank some of the lake water.
he just declared war with mexico and uk in the span of a week
Fair, I can understand that tea is not for everyone

I have a feeling that the whole country of British will gladly pay a visit to Bettel's house because of the things he said 🤨
India, China, Japan also signing-up too
A country that literally engineered a whole-ass drug epidemic for some boiled leaf juice
vs.
Purple hat man
Who cares what the bri'ish have to say?
Those losers literally got colonized by their own colonies.
I need a collab between Vesper and Bettel - Vesper taking his tea set for Bettel to try XD
This time Vesper will give him the coin tea for an extra kick
He totally opened up the tea bag and mixed it in hot water
That's gotta be the most tea-riffic things he's gonna experience... Hunted by grandpa xD
INAFF!
Vesper: "How could a member of my own guild say such things?"
Gavis is gonna meet Vespear before he meets Vesper
I love Bettel’s voice, it’s like so good
I'm enjoying Bettel the most out of everyone, maybe I just like the chaotic shit he comes up with
I mean the spear was meant for boars....but I think we can make a small exception for this.
WE NEED JUDGE MAGNI NOW
Now Vesper has a new target for his hot sauce challenge 🤣
Bettel's lost his tongue perms
This coming from the guy who microwaves his ramen..... Yeah his bad takes check out 🤣

After that stream he is on many people's hit list not just Vesper's. Including his own gen mate 🐦
Never in my life I've met a man with a top hat who doesn't like tea.
Iroh: “How could a member of Holostars say something so horrible?!”
A man with a top-hat who doesn’t like tea feels like a cardinal sin to me.
Can we first quest how he knows what pond water tastes like.
Bettel is a goddamn treasure
So no one wants to question why the fuck he knows what pond water tastes like? Both filtered and unfiltered??? I mean, it's on brand for him but still!
Ngl, at first I also think tea tasted just like grassy- hot water. It is acquired taste and definitely a healthy drink...
And that was just the first of many, many food takes that just left everyone baffled.
Funny how in less than a week Bettel dig hes own grave st least 5 times now
Looks like Vesper's going to make another call to a spider.
Vesper *readies spear*: I guess is time to hunt a clown
Ok. Its fair that you may not like tea……

Oh boy vesper spear might come handy now
STOP THIS MAN RIGHT NOW
Fire-breathing can be considered one of the skills of a clown or jester. Which makes sense because those are some HOT TAKES.
LMAO
Vesper may be suspended for another two weeks after he's through with strangling Bettel. 🤪
V in Vesper goona change into Vlad real soon lol
Papa v is going in for the kill 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
bettel really chose the worst tea to drink
Who does this jester think he is? He's courting death
I'm a tea enjoyer but I'll forgive him for his crimes against beverage... dunno about Vesper though 😂

I'm with Bettel and Kronii on this. Tea is just leaf juice
Describing it as lake water though hmmm
Well at least he likes water.

Dont underestimate vesper he has the power of spider on his side
Nice edits.
holobritish's arch enemy?
What's next, he doesn't wash his rice?
Or maybe he does wash his rice, but with soap xD
Thats just an unforgivable sin
im guessing he probably let it steep for way too long or he just hates tea that much 😭

There is no way Bettel can tolerate coffee but not tea, maybe he's not making it right? Like i cant mentally comprehend that 😭 add sugar and milk?? maybe he microwaved the water ? ?
Based, but I can't believe this man hates water
Why would Vesper disapprove of that? He can keep all the tea for himself.
I'm against judging others for their preferences in things but holy diddley what is wrong with his tongue?
Excuse me… tea is not pond water. Its leaf juice 😆

He has gloriously bad takes.
based, tea is mystery garbage water to me
Bettel is right, tea sucks
Bettel's problem is choosing crap tier tea lol, it doesn't taste like weak musty pond water if you don't buy the absolute cheapest stale crud hahaha
