In this video, we will fix the most common issue that beginners have in crypto and DEFI which is that they can't find their tokens in the metamask wallet.
Sometimes the tokens and the coins will be missing from the metamask wallet because by default the metamask wallet includes only the native token of the blockchain (For example BNB for BSC and ETH for Ethereum).
To let Metamask know that you want it to present your tokens (For example Uni Tokens on Ethereum), You will have to custom add the token using the token's smart contract.
In the tutorial, we will see how to find the tokens smart contract on bscscan (The same works for Ethereum, polygon, avalanche, fantom, etc..), ad then adds it manually to the MetaMask wallet.

On which chain? Check your wallet address in the chain explorer of the chain you’re using.

HI Johnny, What do I do? I already installed the metamask and login with the correct address but then the account address is totaly different from my previous address, how can i restore my prevous address? I saw my account is still there, transfering to new address is not hapening
You can change the account on the MetaMask select bar.

Excellent informative video thanks for making it! For some reason it still did not resolve my issue. The transaction is settled but only a fragment of the token amount is showing up in the wallet but Etherscan shows the full amount as settled in the wallet. Also when the wallet is connected to Uni I see the full amount in the wallet but again not when viewing it in metamask. Any ideas how to resolve this?
Did you try to add the token to metamask using the token's contract address?
Good Evening. I just found a solution because I also did not see the real number in the metamask while it shows in bscscan as Johnny Time shows, I went to punkswape again and the coin really shows it in the correct amount so then it has the address and the fox symbol beside the token and when I clicked it asked me if I want to add the token again to the metamask and immediately after the correct number was displayed but without the real icon but I checked the address with the coinmarketcap and it is exactly the same so I guess its everything fine.

Hey man I was using my metamask through chrome browser but I decide to use Brave browser, when I installed the extension to brave it asked me for the seed phrase and ues it did go through, problem is the address is different, my metamask extension from chrome and brave have different address, is this normal?
Maybe you have multiple accounts on the same seed phrase? Try to click "Add account" and see if you get the other address.

On which blockchain did you buy them? Try to go to the blockchain explorer site and look for your wallet address.

Unfortunately, if you uninstall your MetaMask extension without backing up your seed phrase or the private key, there is no way to restore the wallet.
