It's funny, Red Mist/Squidward's Suicide's episode plot actually makes way more sense as one created by a sentient, hateful AI that only cares about harming anyone and *everyone* who interacts with her. also underrated aspect. the loud crying and wailing at (what should be) the ending logo is like, beautifully terrible, 9-year-old me would've never slept again if they heard that at the end of their 4th spongebob rerun lol, great job
I love how Red Mist replacing Fear of a Krabby Patty was based off the original creepypasta (which was also about FOAKP being replaced by the titular episode)

Could this be a foretelling of Val eventually being able to appear in the real world? Who knows at this point?
I actually had that very idea when I first watched this series. I had an old theory that Mr. McNeil went missing because of the events that took place in the Nick On Demand Error (2005) tape. I thought the corruptus building was actually a cabin owned by Mr. McNeil where he would run some of his own experiments. I thought that most of the first half of the series was Mr. McNeil as our protagonist. I remember Val saying to be careful of what you think or else it would escape to your reality. I took this literally and came to the conclusion that VAL actually escaped the television and either killed Mr. McNeil or knocked him out unconscious and layed in the cabin for a little which is why no one could find him, and the screaming at the end came from Mr. McNeil before something happened to him. Until I found out he actually gone missing in 1991 if I remember correctly. I also had the theory that Euseph took over as our protagonist after the tape I just mentioned. I used to think Euseph was the curious one, I mean, if my boss disappeared and weird things started to occur, I'd probably be curious to find out what is actually at play here, of course he may have a change of heart in later the tapes like you've mentioned before. Just some old theories I had, but if the credits you deciphered are correct, it seems that one of my old theories has been sparked up again. NGL, that would actually be awesome if VAL had a physical form. Especially since he is just an AI and can change his form, his physical form could theoretically be anything. It's these kinds of things that make me LOVE WBRB, besides 07/25/2005, I have never been this invested and involved with an analogue horror "kinda", never!
@@SomeGuy-vg5ns God, just imagine Val crawling out of the TV like Sadako to wreak havoc on the real world. She'd be unstoppable. (And yes, Val's actually a she, by the way. That was apparently recently confirmed in a tweet by TapeWorm.)
