I'm a 47 yr old woman on a tight budget. My pads were worn right down to the bracket and were scraping. Out of all the videos your was the best. Loved the tip for turning the wheel to have the caliper face you. As well huge thank you for showing how and what to grease. My brother helped me get the pads in the metal brackets ND lift the tires back on but did it all myself. Save alot of money. Thank you!
Overall, great video. I feel like, at certain parts, you assume that viewers know what you're talking about. If a DIY'er is needs this video they probably won't fully understand some parts like the brake bleeding and exactly where you put the grease when the view was blocked, around the 5:10 mark.
Also what if I didnt compress the caliper when I took it off, at least I dont think I did i tried but it came off so easily also i dont think I kept track of the bolts on the holder so how do I tell how their different and which goes where
Which brand of premium pads do you recommend for the 2018 kia soul

Thanks for watching. Comments like this keep me motivated to continue posting 🤩
So he did pretty much majority of the work 🤣
No the bracket on the pad itself is what he helped with. I put it all back on the caliper and rotor.
Wow! You are a life saver. To change the front pads and 1 right side rotor my local Exxon wanted $450.00. Yikes
Holy shit

You are my favorite person in the whole wide world right now! This video and your other one for the rear brakes was just what I needed! 🙂
Thank you for the video. I have a 2020 kia soul and I needed to change out the front rotors and your video made it to be a piece of cake.
Thx for watching buddy!

You'd make a mean dentist.
What if I strip the Phillips screws in the rotor?

can you not just use baking soda and water to clean the rust off just like on battery terminals?
I’m not 100% sure but that may just be his preferred/favorite way of cleaning and removing rust!
Why can't I find a video on a 2020 Kia Soul?
To new for RUclips vids. Older the car, more vids there are
Too new I'm doing my 20 at 112k close enough to winter I don't want to chance it at 5K+ miles a month. Had to get the pads from the dealer.
honestly it's probably the exact same. Brake technology is about the same for almost all cars.
