Just watched the Commanders v Niners and they hung with them deep into the 3rd quarter. It's Professional football you can't disrespect a rival.
This isn't even a question, you play to win this game!! Period! All starters and all out ball, to be undefeated at home and a losing record on road, I'd say it's important AF to win this game and play the playoffs at home!!!

Correct. This is a very important game for the Cowboys to win to have a chance of home field advantage throughout the playoffs except the NFC championship game assuming the 49ers will smooth all the way.
As a cowboy fan one thing the commanders showed me last week against the 49ers is they are trying to play spoiler. As bad as they are it may be a gritty game especially in Washington. Starters who are healthy need to play.
They played hard. As a niner fan it was shocking to see how close of a game it was in the 1st half. Niners had to actually try to win. They will definitely try to play spoiler for the Cowboys.
Starters should make it a 3 score game by 3rd quarter than rest. Keeps them sharp, builds confidence, and saves a quarter and a half of punishment
Thank God Niners don't have to worry about winning or not winning or not resting or resting. They took care of business

Dallas needs home field advantage. So If Dallas wants to rest starters, get a big halftime or 3rd quarter lead.
Sherm tripping as usual, rest Tyler, everyone else is playing. Only one thing needs to be said 8-0 at home 3-5 on the road. These are still NFL teams you can’t just line your back-ups up and expect to win. The cowboys NEED to be playing at home.

Fantasy football has Cee Dee at number 1, I think because Tyreek Hill has a lingering injury and might not play very well next week.

This is one of those segments where no one is wrong. Sherm is right in the sense of, dont further injure your guys cause youre gonna need em for the playoffs, but Playmaker is also correct in the sense of they need to win for that home field advantage through the playoffs up until san fran, unless they lose.

Here’s the other thing to consider when resting players, specifically on the OL. Whoever plays needs to be able to protect Dak. The last thing Dallas needs is for the protection to fail and (God forbid) Dak gets injured.

Dallas is an avg team in the road and an elite team at home.

Consider this past weekend with heavy favorites: the Commanders gave SF a fight for awhile before the Niners pulled away, the Bills held on to beat the Pats, and Philly lost to Arizona. The best scenario for Dallas is to rest the guys who are banged up and play the healthy guys.

This ain’t even a question, Dallas undefeated at home. You have to play for the 2nd seed to have 2 home playoff games maybe 3 if god forbid something happen to 49ers. No question you have to play everyone who can play. 2nd seed and 5th seed is a huge difference. Especially Dallas who is Robin on the road and Batman at home. It’s a no brainer.

As a lifelong Cowboy fan (40+ years) nothing would be more Dallas then being handed the division by Philly and then going to Washington and losing. Anyone who knows the NFC East knows that records mean nothing when going against a divisional opponent. A perfect example would be the Cowboys 1989 season where they went 1-15. Can you guess who the Cowboys beat for their only win that season? If you guessed Washington you would be correct.
It's not impossible I tore my plantar fascia, had surgery on it in February 2019. The Army told me that I had to come back 4 weeks earlier, I came back in April and had to have surgery again in May 2019.

this is an easy solution, try to build a lead that’s comfortable enough for them to sit their starters. at best they can hopefully let some of them sit in the 2nd half but if need be, sit them the 4th quarter. but if they need to keep them in all game then do THAT. a home game for us is a MUST. not only because of our record at home but being home for a playoff game is always a benefit no matter what

Absolutely need to try to win this game. And bring the starting lineman if they really can play. Why would I want to start a QB without protecting him with the best players you have? Normally I wouldn't want starters the last game of the season if you don't have a first round bye. But this is different. Need to try to get Home Field no matter who the Cowboys play in the playoffs they give themselves a chance.
