So happy you were able to get your Gen2's. I received mine a couple of months ago, and I can agree that they are gamechangers. Throughout the process of waiting Mike was super kind. Well worth the wait.
Yep I agree! Sometimes good things take time lol some people don’t understand that but in the end the people who waited will be well rewarded with the headlights!
I know Mike just finished like all his 2021 orders and he has been working on 2022 orders. He was just so backed ho with all the delays from 2019 and 2020. Hopefully your preorder will get to you pretty soon since he has been knocking them out.
so if i buy those for a european mk4 i don t need the leveling motorkit right? because i already got the manual high switch for the lights inside the car.
@@sleepwalkerfromcloudcity572 I would reach out to VXTuning and see what they say. I would assume you just need to equip the headlights with the motors. It’s an upgrade option since in the US we didn’t get it.

Yes they do. They currently do a LED retrofit headlight. Same technology as in the gold headlights. Just email them and they will be able to help you out.
@@ThreePedalGarage thanks, i will give them a shout i wonder what oem hid's go for these days mine have literally no hours on them as i almost never drove at night and i have the euro switch with the daylight running lights pin bent so the headlights never run by themselves during the day
Correct, they are not for aiming the beams. However, just like Andrew mentioned in the video, they will help fine tune both cutoffs making them straight and allowing for both cutoffs to match each other. The fine tuning is literally minimal to none adjustment that will not affect or mess with the fitment.
@@ThreePedalGarage never lost my faith! Actually I just got an email from Mike today telling me it should take like 2 weeks until the shipment is started. So fingers crossed after all these months :)

@@sillygoose941 I really like Mike, the owner of VXTunning. He makes a great product and I worked closely with him to help troubleshoot shoot the prototype headlights. He’s a good guy I wouldn’t take it to serious. They are just backed up and I know they have had lots of pressure to get the headlights down.

Not Sure but email VXTuning and they may be able to help.
The adjustability of the four mounting screws for the lights is to align with the body, not for aiming the beams.
