@@DefinitelyNotAGuru Went with the £747 price with Gridserve. Just been told the funder wont honour the agreed price and are now trying to charge more despite proposal and credit checks all being completed. Apparently happing to a lot of clients as residuals for Louts have suddenly dropped and it's pushed all the prices up
Just been told by the Lotus main dealer that my Electre R order (placed on the 3rd of July) was oversubscribed and may be cancelled...
Nooo!!! How has it taken them so long to realise?
Good question, they're partly blaming it on the new Chinese import tariffs - apparently the majority of orders placed around the time of these crazy lease deals are affected.
I wonder if this is a trend that will continue in coming years? better and better lease deals... or is it a flash in the pan? In which case I should lock in a 4 year lease rather than a 2 year. Thoughts anyone?
Truth is, nobody knows.
@@DefinitelyNotAGuru yeah time will tell. in the meantime I have a hard choice to make. Also leaning towards S rather than R as its slightly cheaper and has a better range. But will i always wonder about the extra power of the R... arrrgh....

Speaking to a broker today I've been told theyve been inundated with applications for the Eletre. To anyone interested check the range is acceptable to you, as the R doesn't go as far as the S.

@@DefinitelyNotAGuru yes 22% of new cars that a manufacturer sells in 2024 must be electric. If thats the reason I'm suprised there arent also deals to buy them outright, still at RRP. Anyhow will ask the Lotus guy today at 12pm
