It was probably the first time I'd felt my heart being torn apart like that by a piece of fiction! After that, in order to forget, I tried to watch funny anime (just to make me forget this excruciating pain) but even a month later, seeing that scene again and listening to that song, my heart beats in a painful way and tears come to my eyes. Because I think it's so unfair! But I console myself by telling myself that afterwards they were reincarnated ❤ What a pity that said that this magnificent emperor couldn't stay with his wife and child ( whom he will later love from the bottom of his heart in the end, if we refer to the OVAs)
With all due respect to the character but even if the fight between Nakago and hothohori was not handicapped like in the anime Nakago would win hands down. Nakago's character was written in such a way that he can take on all of the suzaku's seven by himself. Such a powerful villain.
