F*cking terrifying.
I love how they depicted the brutality of Marineford. It was easy to get sucked into the hype from Luffy's point of view back then, but now all of the bloody mess and casualties are actually portrayed as ruthlessness during war. No hopeful nor hype music to be heard, just a senseless battle with people among monsters. I almost cried honestly
if u wanna know where the footage is from, its from a 25th anniversary special called one piece fan letter
really captures the chaos of war better than 12 episodes of luffy running in a straight line
0:50 Doflamingo coming through with swagger and finesse (as always)
Moriah getting squashed by Jinbe and the Crocodile vs Mihawk clash is goated
Damn…..I REALLY want the one piece remake to have this. THIS is peak fiction.
This should be played when we rewatch the Paramount War.
I love this version, also reminds me of that one piece ad too
That was brilliant. Congratulations!
If you pause at the right time, you can see Luffy's reflection on Mihawk's sword
Fun thing... If you are a nobody in this war, your best case scenario is fighting Luffy...
And even then, Luffy would've absolutely _decimated_ you if you got in his way, he was that adamant about saving Ace.
@@LuznoLindo luffy would only knock you out can’t say the same for everyone else
No there’s still buggy but Buggy D Clown is probably worse than fighting Akainu
When One Piece ever should get reanimated they should consider rewriting bits of the story to make it more realistic. Seeing how marines and pirates kill each other just has to be in there.
Seeing this makes me want “the one piece” to be out now

i recently finished the Marineford Arc for the first time, and MAN this hits so hard! watched this about a thousand times
That wasn’t akainu at the end it was the marine we where following through this animation
Wish more war arcs showed the perspective of the fodder and foot soldiers like this.
- makes your realise that the named character we were watching simply fought in a completely different world to the average soldier.
After this episode I am never calling anyone fodders. they are as human like you and me in a world dominated by monsters.
@@Shaunshahriar I probably will still use the term fodder. I’ll simply never use it on characters like yonko commanders again. Even Usopp is fighting in a different world to the foot soldiers.
@@CameronkAK you used to call yonko commanders fodder? manga fandoms are insane
@@gamongames Considering a single top tier can mostly wipe an entire yonko crew, if the captains not present, its not far fetched to see most yonko commanders as inconsequential, with the exception of the top 3. Now that I've watched the episode I'm realising that, while the top tiers fight each other, the commanders are still fighting in a different wolrd to the foot soldiers.
We need this for the 4th great ninja war! One of the most saddest thing about the war i always thought about were the regular citizens. I feel so bad for the random people who were caught in bijuu blast or their little village was destroyed by the after explosion.
That scene of Mihawk and Crocodile strutting in went incredibly hard
It's cool knowing that Shanks stopped this war. It's cool seeing the regular marines and pirates fighting, and it gives me new perspective on how important stopping the war was.
One Piece Fan Letter is a masterpiece. The art and animation was spectacular. Seeing the world of One Piece from the perspective of a normal citizen was so cool.
This became one of my favorite episodes. I honestly love this perspective and point of view.
I'm questioning if any anime in their entire series had depicted war as well as this series had just done in 30 minutes-
Regular marines and pirates not being just useless fodder but actually looking cool
Unbelievable
this is so good i'm literally like the rayleigh crying gif right now oh my lord
I would really love an remake of the Marineford Arc. 😢
Marineford war arc truly impact everyone so hard
this was an extremely nostalgic and emotional episode of one piece. I hope one day that girl gets to officially meet nami.
No way the underrated bleach ending got used 😮
Now we're talking, *MORE* !
The One Piece Fan Letter was such an amazing animation and this opening uses it so well
doffy and ace looking cool as hell
Gotta love how fucking terrifying they made devil fruit users in the perspective of commoners
I love this so much. Marco putting Kizaru at his place to kick things off
