Haruka kanata only ever being used as a bleach ending song during a filler arc is the biggest missed opportunity in all of anime music imo

sometimes i wish One Piece was a more serious series. imagine if we got scenes of the battles and wars like something out of AOT. An entire series of this.
The remake is a possibility-if the East Blue arc is received well, they could take it further. Wit, having animated all three seasons of Attack on Titan, could handle it, so your wish might come true. However, One Piece will never truly be a serious series in the way some might expect because Oda didn’t intend for it to be that way. It's too long to be focused solely on mindless battles or war scenes. While One Piece can get very serious, Oda and the anime often don't highlight those moments-especially the anime, which is targeted toward kids watching it before school or when they wake up. To be honest, I also wouldn’t want to see something as heavy as Ginny’s abuse by a Celestial Dragon depicted.

Oda wasn’t focused on the lives of ordinary people or the world’s brutality back in 2010, as the story was centered on the main characters. But the remake by Wit would probably explore this aspect more deeply, especially during the final war. Plus, when One Piece returns with Episode 1123 and possibly a new time slot, it’s likely to be even bloodier.
