Remember, there's only two types of gamblers: Millionaires and Quitters.
turning on outline can make it easier to see the character if you are worried about how easy it is for the viewer to see whats happening.
1x zoom was no problem at all, but as the other commenter suggested, character outline helps as well.

i just gotta ask because ive had such a hard time with it, what did you do to unlock drifter?
A lot of it is RNG unfortunately, but I straight up got the secret character first and and used it to loop until I got all the drones I needed. Not going to get into spoilers, but it's got an aptitude for drones. There are plenty of good guides on RUclips
If you have the secret character unlocked, it's super easy (given some decent luck). The unlock condition is below:
Simply recycle 6 drones in one run. The Drone Recyclers seem to spawn pretty consistently for me post update, and I've have great luck on the 4th stage and up.
Honestly I wish I could be more helpful, I just played the game a ton and bought every drone I could until I found a recycler, that being said you can make that easier by turning damage dealt up and taken down if you don't mind that idea
playing with a friend actually helps a lot, because you can both search the map for drones and recyclers, additionally, get a drone repair kit because you can recycle that drone as many times as you need - Certified Drifter, aka gambler main

Alt 1 sniper is pretty silly, sacrifice artifact is very nice, double damage dealt and taken can be fun, command lets you make very silly gimmick builds, I usually look around at alts and artifacts to find things to screw around with
