Now that you mention it, the title "Castle of Memories" makes sense now, you're playing through a level that should feel familiar to Castlevania fans. It's a reference to something, and it takes place in a castle. I thought the trial was called like that because Bandit robbed a castle in the past and these are his memories of it or something
The electrified rope huntress trial where you have to avoid falling in the lava, while flying lemurians attack you, and elire lemurians electrify the rope, and you have to shoot airborne targets even tho all of huntress atacks have a delay to them, is absolutely VILE.
The thing with get off my lawn is that if you put enough space between the turrets you can just let them tank every projectile and only worry about the melee guys as those are the only things even capable of hurting the turrets, then it becomes about the difficulty of the rest of the trials
Enforcer's 85 lemurians is challenging, but wasn't nearly the hardest for me. I think I got it on the 5th attempt? Loop around to grab all items, camp on top of the ledge. Spam shotgun until an elder spawns or you hear the sound of the flying guy, then jump and use your special. Not too bad overall. I currently can NOT gold the huntress rope targets
@@slimyasparagus3573 yeah the hot rope jump 50 targets and enforcer lemurian ones are widely considered the worst. Engie's Get off my lawn is pretty high up there too. Personally almost all the Pilot ones were obnoxious for me too, like in the crab juggling one I hate how the crab just randomly moves, making your success pretty much up to RNG. The hot rope jump one should be lowered to 30 or 25 for gold rank, and the enforcer lemurian one lowered to 70/200 for pass/gold ranks imo.
you can cheese the shit out of the enforcer one, theres platforms in the middle of the levels that you can stand on and nothing can reach you, if you get on them before killing much, the flying spear guys don't spawn, and the elder and normal lemurians just keep spawning non stop
I cheesed the Enforcer one jumping between the two vines on the left side and spamming primary fire lol Only normal lemurians can climb vines so yeah, ez
Not sure if it'll be possible, but it would be really neat if people were able to make custom trials, seems like a perfect sort of thing for a level editor.
I hope when rorr modding eventually becomes a thing, custom trials are possible. Y'know how the bandit has a trial based on Castlevania? Imagine a modder making actual Castlevania enemies and level assets and making an entire mini-campaign in one of the trials. That'd be sick as hell.

Yup that one sucks. The bighorns can attack before your attack animations can even play out, leading to almost-unavoidable damage that builds up over time. Needs those healing chunks like some of the other trials have.
