    Them man, I loved arti in 2 and thought she was terrible in return, but now it makes so much how she plays and I never caught in that ice wall aggros for you

    As someone who really didn't like how arti felt to play in returns and loathed her alts for the longest while, forcing myself to play with only her alts for one run bumped her up from least favorite to top 3.
    Granted, I don't advise playing all alts, but my favorite loadout so far was nano bomb, tectonic surge and localized sun (yes, really).
    Being able to thin out crowds below me with the sun while dealing with airborne threats helps me deal with key foes. Getting wicked ring alone or even just gigantic amethyst lets you spam suns and REALLY rack up damage. And scepter just makes you better at it.
    Base loadout is fun too with great crowd control. Took time to learn she works around her abilities.
    Love her providence skin too. 8.5/10.

      Agreed. It's especially satisfying stacking localized sun on top of your flame chakrams

    I also really like prison shackles on arti. It lets me squeeze even more damage out of chakrams and flamethrower.

    Great guide man, I played as arti and immediately thought she was bad, but after this guide it showed me how much potential that arti had that I wasn’t using! Great video!

    Thank for the artifier guide btw i want to share info
    Ancient scepter on Miner, Acrid,and pilot.
    Miner:
    To the star become starbound:increase skill damage from 3x180% to 5x180% reduce heat cost from 20% to 15%.
    Acrid:
    Epidemic become pandemic: for each pandemic kill it will heal you.
    Pilot:
    Airstrike become Air raid: increase skill damage by 37.5% from 150% to 187.5%.
    Aerial support become Aerial barrage: double skill damage from 10x125% to 20x125%.
    Chef alt skills challenges:
    Oil jar:kill 15 enemies that coated in oil simultaniously .
    Slice: complete the providence trial "A fresh harvest" the challenge is to kill Atleast 20 lemurians before time runs out.
    Cook:complete the Providence trial "The right ingredients" The challenge is to cook atleast 15 enemies before time runs out.
    Pilot alt skill challenge:
    Areobatics: complete the providence trial "Race to the Finish" The challenge is to reach the teleporter before time runs out.
    Acrid alt skill challenge:
    Dissolving ambush:complete the providence trial
    "Uncontrolled specimen" The challenge is to Shatter all the targets with the skill Before time runs out.

    The person who was in charge of designing Arti for rorr, dee, has said in the discord that they wanted her to be very difficult to play but with high rewards for playing well, especially the alt skills. That lines up pretty well with the designs of the modded ror1 survivors they made before being hired to work on returns (DD's Variant Pack for Starstorm!), they're all pretty complex and have to very frequently make good use of their whole kit to perform well in almost any situation compared to most survivors which can usually get by fine with only one or two of their damaging skills. I feel Artificer also fits into that sort of design mindset, and it's fine to have characters like that but I think she could use some more buffs/tweaks just to make her feel a bit better to use for those who aren't super experienced at playing her

      Yeah I think that kind of design philosophy is fine too, so long as it fits with the design philosophy of the rest of the game. Having a character that demands full and proper use of their kit in a cast full of characters like that makes sense, but being the only one makes arti feel weak by comparison and overly punishing. I have fun with her but I agree some buffs to bring her more in line with the cast would be really nice and dramatically increase the number of people enjoying her very fun and unique kit

    what if arti could become her localized sun, and just fly around with invincibility for a bit. It would be a broken, but fun buff

      I think it could actually work to create a more movement based approach for Arti by just keeping you vulnerable, it'd be interesting and fun for sure!

    Despite how bad she plays in ror2 I still played her a lot and enjoyed it, looking forward to play her on the vita

    What version are you playing? Your artificer seems to throw chakrams much faster compared to 1.0.5 ver and damage on spear being reduced from 350% to 300% (asking cuz 1.0.5 arti is barely playable)

      I'm on latest version at the time of upload, chakrams can be spam clicked to fire significantly faster

      The ingame descriptions actually have a surprisingly high number of inaccurate damage numbers, spear does 225% on a normal hit, not 300%. The wiki has all the accurate numbers listed

      Indeed, much cooler than in RoR2, the pixel art animations look so much better than her 3d sfx.
