Man I love chevelles especially the older ones 1966 chevelles the body stile is so bad ass beautiful, and wow now with all the things like LS motors and up grades there are no limits to what you can do with your chevelle we are living in the greatest times ever and very lucky, know wander you are named lucky ha ha hang in there bud your friend David King
Thanks for all the videos you put out Lucky. It must be a pain is the ass trying to work and set up cameras and record at the same time. It must add alot of time to a project to film all for our entertainment. This wagon is going to be So Rad. Thanks again Lucky.
Love seeing these chevelle videos my dad gave me his 4 door 66 malibue I love these videos man you dont see people working on these old cars any more keep it up lucky!!!
You are correct lucky you're damn right my grandpa used to have a stogie and some whiskey while he was driving crazy times back then stay safe brother stay safe from that virus and that's a beautiful frame
A chevelle 66 SS I had was 4 inches higher on all 4 corners. Most people and me really liked how it looked. Handled great. Front was raised by using heavier coils from a station wagon.
Great work on installing that frame kit; the back of the wagon's gonna be stiff as a life sentence. The blue car's coming along real good, too! Keep up the awesome work, Lucky!
I fucking love those 2dr wagons......that thing is gonna be sweeeeet when she is up and running! !!.........do I see a 1st Gen firebird in the shop too!! My buddy's mom had a 69 firebird when we were kids we used to sneak it out and take it for joy rides. ........that car was cool as shit even as a kid
Love the old Chevelles, my first car was a `66...miss that car. Punk ass kid had his license 2 weeks hit me in his grandfathers Caddy so hard he bent the frame. I got locked up for beating the shit out of him. It had a 193cu 6 when I got it, ripped that out and dropped a cammed 350 in it. Accident happened a month later. Stay safe Lucky.
I absolutely love your attention to detail! Watching your videos gives me hope that there are still people who care about doing the job right. Which brings me to the question which many inquiring minds want to know... "What happened to the LeMonster?!" I loved the HRG episodes of that car! You say "it came back worse" and "the company sold it", I'm guessing you mean Motor Trend. I really hope you can shed some more light on the subject without upsetting "the suits". We're all "car guys" who don't care about the politics of corporations... we just care about the cars... ok... you too. Hope you're staying healthy out there. Thank you for giving us something to watch while we twiddle our thumbs! Stay safe!
Hey Lucky, it's FishJim, your wagon is coming along nicely. I have a lead on another 2 door wagon with enough parts to possibly build two more. Let me know if you have someone interested. Take care!
After you powder coat your frame, dilute chain saw chain oil with a slightly lighter oil (it's a real gooey & sticky substance) & spray it inside your boxed frame. (messy, but messes clean up.) You may need to re-spray every 5 to 10 years, but your frame will last forever! :)
i bought a hellwig boxing kit for my g body buick and damn did it make a huge difference factory welds on my frame is terrible the welds on your frame look alot better then on mine
Have you tried the Steel-it aerosol paint yet? They are really starting to promote it as being weldable and easy to spot repair if you need to weld after you've already painted the frame with it. It's not cheap, that's for sure.
@@luckysgarageshow I believe I've heard you mention that previously. Just curious if you'd tried the other. Like I said, they're very proud of it price wise and I'm aware that POR is not cheap either. My boss had a bad result with POR on a trailer and left me with a bad impression. I know he was the exception.
Hey lucky , 64 2dr wagon is coming along nice ! When are we going to see a rendering ? What motor's /trans going in it ? Can't wait to see it complete ! One of my fav's ! It would be nice if you made a little longer (20-30 min.) Love the channel ! Keep up the awesome work !!!!! Joe
I boxed my ‘64 Chevelle SS frame. I added a few gussets near the rear springs. Turned out good. Lucky, I was wondering because the wagons and El Camino’s are supposed to have a factory boxed frame. Your 2 door wagon did not. Was it the original frame?
Sorry lucky but if that "beanie" comes from Canada it's a toque. The loose Canadian definition and not the historical LOL. You're the man and would love to be your apprentice.
Hey Lucky with those rear coil overs mounted in the upper shock mounts, aren’t you worried about the high stress cracking the frame. I’ve read that’s a no no mounting it that way. What’s your opinion?
So I just resealed the frame on my 66 gto and went through a nightmare getting the body off the frame. What’s the best way to replace some of the cage nuts so I can re secure the body bushings. I have a new set of bushings but I don’t have a lift or all the tools you have. Any help is great thanks for the video lucky.
Hiya Lucky - so, I finally get the backstory on the LeManster.. whattaya mean, worse shape than when you left it? I thought they (Lincoln Tech) were just spraying it?
Jeff Mutschler They disassembled most of the body. Sanded I couple panels stacked it in a pile and there it sat until we hunted it down and paid to have it shipped back. Then it disappeared. “Sold”
I can literally make this kit or something very similar for around $150. It's a few pipes and some flat steel give me a break and the "kit" cost $800 ya I don't think so.

HPI for the win! Nice work
Two door wagon, so good.
Oh crazy, HPI is from my neck of the woods! They've built some beautiful rods :-)

Great job and Another great video 👍👍🇨🇱
G'day from West Australia, Lucky😉🙂👍👍
Nothing like a stiff frame for adding power to🙂👍👍
Thanks Lucky. Stay safe man.👍🏼🤘🏼😎
Thank you for the video,i want a chevelle.
I totally forgot about the wagon , what a killer machine that will be when it’s done . Stay safe
Never realized this is a Canadian company! Fuck yes GO B-TOWN
Hey Lucky, it's FishJim, your wagon is coming along nicely. I have a lead on another 2 door wagon with enough parts to possibly build two more. Let me know if you have someone interested. Take care!
My favorite thing about Lucky's video is his commitment to never wearing ear protection.
Also love the wagon man you dont see many of those at all love it!
Nice one, that should give it some strength 👍😊
That ride height looks perfect for that tire and wheel combo
lucky for President
You should tell more stories about interesting car stuff like the 57 frame . The chevhell is soo good
Best on RUclips
“Did you just say jazzed” ~Lego Batman~
thanks lucky!!! stay safe
Sorry to hear about the Lemans. I had been waiting for it to make a comeback.

Boxing in the frame on my K5 as soon as I can afford the 2 1/2” dimple die and a ass load of cold roll!!🤷🏻♂️👍🏻👍🏻
Looks very husky!
Very nice
That wagon is gonna be sweet
Looks great as always
Hay lucky you can get the grommets for those R hook or J hook holes it just a thought but it'll keep it cleaner than leaving it open
kevin b That’s a great idea.... thanks
Just remember to remove the ones it the front and back when transporting they'll take them out and never make it back in anyway have a good one lucky
Lucky your lucky to know what you know

Worlds fastest two post lift!!
Nice!!!!!!!

antalamo I think the el co is boxed but this 64 was not.

Mario Rossignol In Canada I’ll call it what ever they want but as soon as it hit the US it’s a beanie 🤓👍
Hey Lucky with those rear coil overs mounted in the upper shock mounts, aren’t you worried about the high stress cracking the frame. I’ve read that’s a no no mounting it that way. What’s your opinion?
I love that wagon Lucky but it seems like a two-door wagon is really a dumb idea. Do you have any idea what market Chevy was going for?
Carl Sharp Nope But it’s a Fun Driver market now.... 🤓👍
Its a elco with a top

9:07 Install a rubber plug after the body is mounted.
Y no oil pressure in black hood car?
What did I miss?

sweet cars, but as much as you do fabricating why didn't you do your own chassis kit rather than off the shelf?
NIck Buchanan Free time and this is a great kit
Sweet
Let me know when the wagon is done and for sale, I want it!
...They did =what= to the Lemans?! ,,,O!O,,,
Where the hell did you find a 2door wagon? I knew a girl in highschool had 1 327/4speed car
Factory welding hasn't gotten any better. Look at the Jeeps. Recalled some because of shitty welds in the suspension.
I can literally make this kit or something very similar for around $150. It's a few pipes and some flat steel give me a break and the "kit" cost $800 ya I don't think so.
What did you do to kill the oil pressure on the Chevhell?
Did you sever your relationship with Lincoln Tech?
mightymikethebear I have no idea......
@@luckysgarageshow I thought you said you got the Pontiac back in worse condition than it was when dropped off.
Hopefully they took it as constructive criticism.
Did the frame move at all when you were welding it?
XOZ Industries Nope. Take your time. 3” sections and jump for side to side with cool down in between.
Thanks for watchin
Hey man, hope you get your half a penny for my comment...
What do you know about the Australian Ford Barra....
Joe Schlotthauer The Barramundi Engine is amazing
Leave a comment or question but.......lucky never answers them
Jamie W Yep. Never....
Masoooged? That French?
I wouldn’t waste my time on a wagon.
So that's what happened to the Le Mans convertible. Stupid company.
