Thank you for the longer than normal video, It’s nice to see your amazing work more the 5 minutes at a time, but I understand you do what you can to update everyone when you can. It would be cool though to see a good 30-45 minute banger when you get ready to do the turbo kit. Anyways, keep up the great work I appreciate the content.👍🇨🇱
You know if you had Tony from HotRod garage it would be either blown up or on fire. Frieburger would Roadkill wire it. Dulcheck would want to put a big carburetor on it. Finneagen would straight axle it.
You gotta show us the chicken dance you guys did when you raised it up on the lift because you set the motor in, raised it up, danced under it and bam!, it was running. I gotta learn that dance. LOL
11-minute video from Lucky and me with no popcorn... Look forward to seeing the cross member upgrades you spoke of, will you be boxing the frame as well ?
Great update. I like how you do things the correct way. May I ask how the brakes are without a booster? I’ve contemplated not using a booster on a truck I’m putting back together because I won’t have sufficient vacuum. Thank you.
noticed you left the PVC tubing from the pass valve cover to throttle body off. is that a big deal? I noticed on your supercharged chevelle you have them blocked off as well..
That thing sounds like a beast! What kind of heads are you running? I have a 2001 Z06 that I like to maybe have some work done on. Other than exhaust and cold air, it's stock.
From this video and the last, I'd guess an LM7 or similar 5.3L that's been bored out .100" to bring it up to 5.7L, then given the forged crank/rods/lo-compression pistons treatment. But that's just spitballing.
Most enjoyable car guy on tv or the internet. Love what you do and how you act lucky. Why do you guys swap motors so often? And can I have one to replace my s10 350? 😆
You can get a swivel eyelet that will weld or bolt to your lift plate, I got one from a place that reman's large diesel engines, they use them to move the blocks and heads around. You can also find them at steel companies.
Find is it possible you could send me pictures of the wheels that are on your truck I kind of like them the black wheels that are on your truck could you tell me what they are and send picture of and I like the engine swap out you did
You're easily one of my favorite car builders. You put the time and effort in where it counts, but more than that it's done right.
Kenneth Monson Thanks Kenneth
You are a Gentleman and an Automotive Scholar Lucky! Thanks man!

SpatialDragon its a sick hook!
You know if you had Tony from HotRod garage it would be either blown up or on fire. Frieburger would Roadkill wire it. Dulcheck would want to put a big carburetor on it. Finneagen would straight axle it.

Hey lucky you inspire me! I'm currently doing a bed shortening deal like the one you and Tony did on that 67...
You gotta show us the chicken dance you guys did when you raised it up on the lift because you set the motor in, raised it up, danced under it and bam!, it was running. I gotta learn that dance.

Track truck, or just a cool cruiser? Either way, it's one sweet machine. Can't wait to see the finished product. 👍👍
Great junk you got though.🤪🔧
Love the truck. I hope you're being serious about the turbo. That would be bad ass!!
Of course he's serious. Naturally-aspirated is boring. :D
Like the truck but love the Chevelle
Sometime soon, you'll have to shoot us a "tool tricks" episode where you show off some home-made shop tools like that engine hoist swivel hook...
Great update. I like how you do things the correct way. May I ask how the brakes are without a booster? I’ve contemplated not using a booster on a truck I’m putting back together because I won’t have sufficient vacuum. Thank you.
Jaben Ross the Baer ReMaster works great with my Big Brakes but I would use a booster for stock.
Maybe EBC electric brake company
Thank you sir
Lucky if you read this what or who makes that ac / alternator/ pump bracket didn’t look stock👍🏻✌️
PB Machines I read it.... it’s the Holley Mid Mount accessory drive
Lucky’s Garage Show hey right on thanks 👊
Badass,
the only good thing to come out of california!
It's a good thing they have some great car guys out there or that place would be completely worthless
Fugging LOL !
Keep the videos coming lucky
Sounds great
This is what I want to do to my 96 caprice
You must be listening to Mike Rowe "Safety third"
noticed you left the PVC tubing from the pass valve cover to throttle body off. is that a big deal? I noticed on your supercharged chevelle you have them blocked off as well..
Jarrod Burnett I tap the back of the valve covers and run a -8 to a Oil separator
Best junk around
good junk mate
You have the best "junk"
That thing sounds like a beast! What kind of heads are you running? I have a 2001 Z06 that I like to maybe have some work done on. Other than exhaust and cold air, it's stock.
Love your "junk"👍
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, you love his junk.
Did you modify your inner finders or did you buy them that way? It looks like they're trimmed for more suspension travel.
Chase I trimmed them just because they look better
You make it look easy-peasy. Masters of their craft are just that way. Do you find heim joints noisy or any other problems with them?
AustrianAnarchy No problems from QA1 at all ..
That's nice.
Love the videos.
And I'm excited that I was the 666th like for this video also. The goat sacrifices have been paying off.
Sean Jones 🤘😆
Has there been mention of the motor specs? Displacement, bore/stroke?
From this video and the last, I'd guess an LM7 or similar 5.3L that's been bored out .100" to bring it up to 5.7L, then given the forged crank/rods/lo-compression pistons treatment. But that's just spitballing.
Love ur junk!
My Alexa legit turned on my radio 😂
cody leavitt hilarious!!!!!
Sounds good Lucky
I love your junk..... I want you to build some junk for me
Alexa, start and dyno tune my truck.

Do LS motors have block drain plugs?
Too nice for me lol. Your becoming a gold chainer haha. Jk. I do love it. Money spent in the right places.
pfffffft. Dirt just adds character. :)P
What’s the plan for the little ls that came out the truck?

Totally !
breakerbroke23 hilarious!!!
I have a 68 GMC 1/2T build going on right now,my question is what size and make of fuel cell(tank) are you upgrading to?
Is the block iron or aluminum. Witch is better for torque and boost
Where did you buy the heater delete panels?
Jason OLeary it’s part of the VintageAir kit.
I just requested it with no holes .....
Sweet
So as someone staring down a grenaded ls6 this winter, is there a sweet source on aluminum LS blocks I should be looking at?
Most enjoyable car guy on tv or the internet. Love what you do and how you act lucky.
Why do you guys swap motors so often? And can I have one to replace my s10 350? 😆
I lied it's a 305..... 😭😢

Nice junk!
What wheels and tire size are you running?
Specs on new motor?
Hey lucky where did you get the hook set up for your hoist
lucky for President
Specs on the new lower end? I guess I missed them
Where can I get a swivel hook for my engine hoist? Love the content and keep up the good work.
Jeff MacDonald You gotta make one.....
Ya, saw that too.... always by myself with the engine sideways going in or out.
You can get a swivel eyelet that will weld or bolt to your lift plate, I got one from a place that reman's large diesel engines, they use them to move the blocks and heads around. You can also find them at steel companies.
Find is it possible you could send me pictures of the wheels that are on your truck I kind of like them the black wheels that are on your truck could you tell me what they are and send picture of and I like the engine swap out you did
Where did u source your motor?
