- It's been a long time coming, but at last, here we are! Zane and I are almost crying knowing we've finally made it to this point, and we hope you enjoy our performances as usual!
Giving a huge shoutout to Zane, who put this lovely masterpiece together. I know this was a lot, man, but you outdid yourself, and I'm BEYOND proud of you. I'm so happy and honored to call you my friend and voice-acting partner!

Hey there! First, I want to thank everyone who not only watches this video, but who has watched the series as a whole for the last 4 years. It was a lot of hard work, but in the end, I managed to put this video together and I couldn't be more proud of the result. Thank you to everyone who has supported this series, left comments, likes, and shared videos with your friends.
I remember when Phoenix first contacted me over DeviantArt asking about voicing Asgore in the Handplates comic, and now here we are, 4 years later and much more experienced. The comic seems to be inching ever closer to its conclusion, and I can't help but say I hope these next months or so of this project end up being as good as the last 4 years were, if not better. This has been the longest running project I've been a part of, and it has a special place in my heart, so to dedicate my last piece of work as a Comic Dub editor to this project is something I'm honored to do.
I hope you all enjoy this video that's been months in the making. Phoenix will be taking back the reigns as editor in chief of the series now that I've had my fun with this video and we'll get back to a more speedy upload times as new updates come out. Thanks again, and I hope you enjoy!

4 years, huh? It sounds kinda surreal although I wasn't there every step of the way it was 3-2 years for me, I'm glad handplates is back and please take your time, as long as the conclusion doesn't take another 4 years I'll be there haha

the fact that both sans and papyrus know they're heading to their death, the sound of blood hitting the floor more and more as sans bled out,. . .dear god genocide never fails to be hard to watch.
Oh my God, I'm so glad you noticed the blood splatter! I wanted to make that scene as visceral as possible. Sans was holding his arms over the wound to stop the bleeding, but if he moved too much it'd gush out and splatter on the ground. And then when he falls against the pillar I wanted there to be some major weight to it. Basically I went all out on that scene to make it as violent to watch as possible and I'm glad that showed through!

either way. . i'm still glad people are still making great undertale content like this, no matter how sad it can be sometimes
I think out of all Undertale storylines, I find this one to be the saddest. They’ve had the short end of the stick since there creation, and the hits just keep coming. But all that aside, this is such a great comic.
Knowing how the genicide route ends or goes I almost cried, but this comic was interesting because papyrus also remembered somewhat

I can not overstate how brilliantly handplates having pap see the good timelines and sans see the bad timelines fits into existing lore, as well as the lore established in handplates.
That part where Papyrus and Sans fought about Pap leaving,hit me hard

Truer words have never been spoken.
It's so hard to change people's minds. Where so many people are closed minded. Where their beliefs are so strong that they refuse even when all of the evidence is there that the thing they believe in will harm them, harm another person, or just plain false. And it's harder when you try to change someone, for the better, close to you because it hurts to see them like that.
Papyrus was meant for greatness.
The genociders are just making him fall out if it.

I don't know why, but I found that inspirational as shit. Knowing you are 100% about to meet your death, and still being brave. Gawd damn I love Papyrus' character sometimes.
When I first saw the title of this video, my heart sank. “Why would this player do this? Why would anybody do the genocide route? For fun? How would people enjoy the torture of innocent monsters?” But I then saw the scene with the player crying when Sans spoke. It hit me, that such a subtle speech, could make so many emotions bloom. I myself have never done the genocide run because i’d never want to do such a thing. But to watch Chara tear the moment after what the player did, and kill Sans, it was so sad. And that’s my speech.
I tried the genocide route but could never complete it, partially because it was to hard and partially because it was to emotionally damaging.

So many parallels from their past... sans not understanding papyrus' empathy for killer just like his empathy for gaster, papyrus giving sans the same "do you see me" speech gaster gave to papyrus...such great writting
While it is pretty sad, the fact Papyrus is implied/confirmed to know the resets in the comic actually might make it easier for Sans. He’s more motivated instead of giving up since he has Papyrus to fight for and who also knows what he’s going through. I’d assumed he’s not as depressed by the resets due to Papyrus remembering and he probably won’t stop trying to figure a way out knowing that his brother also suffers the same fate.

Yeah, I was really happy when the soundtrack list just clicked into place. I was doing a dry read on my own to different music, then I managed to put together the list in no time at all when FMAB's OST hit that sweet spot for me. Unfortunately, I've now listened to these tracks so many times in editing that they are ruined for me for the foreseeable future. XD
(Also, thank YOU for helping out. You came through real strong with your performance.)

Way back when this was announced I already knew I'm gonna be bawling my eyes out... you three did such a stellar performance with the emotions, the desperation in Sans's voice, and then later the completely empty, broken depression, his conversation with Radic/The Player trying to muster just that little bit of determination to try to change them one last time, Papyrus's determination and bravery, while he is completely bottling up his true emotions, and of course, gotta give props to Cello as well, her performance as the Player/Radic hit me even more than I expected it would.
The music... the sounds... everything...
Amazing editing, stellar dub, this is just the masterpiece that I was expecting, it's even better than that. I am truly amazed.
Now... if you don't mind, Imma go and cry ;D
I've never cried at a comic dub before- I told myself I was never going to cry at a comic dub- but I guess we all gotta cry because of a comic dub at least once.
All this could have been solved if Sans just said
"Okay but I'm going with you"
But what good would that be.

This dub was amazing, I didnt think we would get new Handplate dubs but I was proven wrong. You guys always manage to create high quality content, and I hope for future Handplate dubs.
It's kinda funny how in most horror shows the most frightening part is the unknown danger, yet we already know what is going to happen next VERY WELL- and that is the frightening part.
i want to see more of this comic and i hope there is some gaster.

just watched this video, it came up in my recommended. i am completely up to date with handplates, and i used to watch vade's dubs of handplates, but this dub literally beats it by a mile. the editing is phenomenal thus far, and the voice acting is incredible- keep up the good work, it looks and sounds fucking awesome

Thank you so much! I had volunteered to do these updates as a single video as a tribute to the series ages ago. I was doing a cold read before I had even recorded my lines, trying to figure out the kind of feel I wanted the episode to have, and then I hit on a few FMAB tracks, managed to pace out what tracks I wanted to use with a few more cold reads, and then the rest was history. The natural melancholy to all of the tracks in that OST, combined with its versatility, just worked so well for me and I'm glad everyone else thinks so!

Wow that was absolutely great the voice acting was on point the noises were on point everything was beautifully placed it felt like a real movie even though the pictures were moving I mean they were slightly but it was so good it was like I was in Sans shoes!

Yes, it's Canon. Despite the true reset, this run affects Radic's choices in the future of the comic, so its part of the main storyline.

I want to extend my hand and thank you for the hidden gems you dig up. Where Starbot Dubs, and Vade, failed, you chose to pick up the dubs in their place. There's a high chance they'll _never_ touch dubbing these series again, I know that it's far past them. So thank you for continuing a series that I enjoyed when I was younger. I'm happy that I'm getting to see this series come closer to its end.

I'm sorry I put you through all of it, but, in the end...I already made up my mind. You weren't the reason I kept resetting, you were in my way towards my goal. I had to prove a point, that maybe, they could see they were wrong, but, in the end, I ended up failing, just as you did. After all...
Determination can only do so much.
Some things are impossible to change, for real, that is.
The only thing I can do now is go back and fix all my wrongs. I do not expect you to forgive me, nor accept this apology, but, for whatever it's worth, I've gone back to make amends. I've let you to decide what to do with it: embrace it and live your new life to the fullest, or not, and let yourself rot away. I'll not take this gift back from you, but I'll let you decide what to do with it. I misused that power for selfish reasons, and again, I can't promise I won't use it again or even not misuse it again, bit, for what it's worth, you have the present. Enjoy it while you can.

Your dubs becomes greater, but of course some parts of them can be better.For instance in the end, Sans had a laugh like he is a villain but he isn't of course.We can understand his happiness at that time with his face.But, it's still better than nothing
