Bought a LS2 Valiant FF399 only a few days ago. Overall, it´s a nice helmet, light, functional, nice esthetics. Just 1 really bad downside, quite disappointing really: wind noise is massive inside the helmet. Even with closed vents. Not ideal if you want to vlog with this helmet. I had a 20 year old Shoei before which made less wind noise.
There not to heavy depending on how long you wear it for really, I've had visor issues, and my 2nd valient helmet doesn't feel as quality as the 1st and the linkin ride pal 3 doesn't fit as well.
There's mounts for a Pinlock, but it's sold separately. This one also has cutouts for speaker pockets, so if you're able to mount your favorite BT system on there you'll be good to go. LS2 is also planning to release the Linkin Ride Pal BT unit later this year too which will work on the Valiant.
I bought 1 of these and its very convenient and also came with a pinlock aswell...Love it great value and fits well...I also had a Sena headset fitted no problems.
Jesus Christ man, you need to google "chromatic aberration". A professional video should never go out like that... I'm guessing you were using a legacy large aperture lens, wide open? There is a good reason why they cost so little, often 1/10th of the modern versions. In the very least you need to close the aperture by one stop to get decent results. Good bokeh always comes at a price...
I have one and pretty sure the inside visor is gear not cable driven have had no issues with it.I like this helmet 👍

Is the valiant x available to buy or has it been discontinued
Bought mine and the chin strap is too short I can not close it, do you have any fix for this issue, I can not use it or even return it

No heavier than any regular helmet but more convenient.
can the Cardo Packtalk bold or slim Bluetooth be installed on this helmet?
I fitted a sena in mine no problem but not sure what the difference is.

Yes...my friend has a Sena 30K on his LS2 Valiant helmet.
I bought the LS2 Valiant too. I installed my Packtalk comms unit via the adhesive bracket on my left ear side.
I also have the 30k evo in mine.
