I had to have my cat euthanized this past week. It was devastating. I commented to the vet who was doing the procedure that I don't know how she does it. She said to me "it isn't as hard as one would imagine because I know I am freeing them of pain and suffering." This helped me so much; I hope it will help you as well. Sending prayers...

You really encouraged me to try my hand at formal gowns, and that has now become my most favorite category to sell. The return on investment is just so good! I had 2 great formal sales in February so far - I paid $2.95 for each dress, and they both sold for right around $200. I was stoked. :)
Formal gowns have a high return rate though because people try to wear it and make up an excuse to return. Thats why it’s a category I hate and am moving out of
My heart dog died two weeks ago, it's really difficult. I miss her terribly. Give yourself time and grace to mourn. My recommendation, find one of the businesses on on Etsy that make necklaces, bracelets, etc. from a cast of your dog's nose. It might sound silly but you won't regret it.

I went quickly through the books and saw a hard-back book about the early years of Elvis with 3 music CD's. It sold for $100 giving me a net profit of $74.36. I am trying to be flexible with what I list and it's paying off. I am listing some hard goods as well. I think getting out of your comfort zone can be fun!

I lost my baby last Feb 2022 and havent been able to get another one yet, even though I know I have so much love to give and know I will, in time, be ready to love another fur baby someday soon. I completely agree with Karen! I like the new Mogibeth so much! I purchased a Prada coat at a Savers a year and a half ago for $12.00. I wasn't sure how to list it so I just listed it for $300. It sold in 3 days for $250.00. I was very happy with that! Praying for your dad and your dog! So sorry that you are going through all of that. Thank you for being so real with all of us!
We had to put our girl down in April of last year. Coming up on a year? I still cry every day. Obviously life goes on, so you do need to keep a level of focus. I personally make my own focus, so I don't take much away from others' experience. That said - sending all the best to you. You will be fine.

It will no doubt be terrific. As for sales, one of my better sales this month was a pair of mens Keiser Clark shorts I purchased for $3 that I sold to someone in Japan for $114. I had never heard of the brand but it felt like good quality so I comped it and discovered it was a great brand. :)
So far, my best sale in Feb was a Tod's purse I found at the bins for about $4 and sold for $104. I am sorry for your loss. My husband and I experienced the worst loss in Sept with our only child. I keep going through the grace of God. Reselling is therapeutic.

We have sold a lot of Hugo Boss, mens and Brooks Bros Womens. We bought a storage unit that was all mens clothes and there were a lot of Hugo Boss London polos. We did another buy of several hundred womens Brooks Bros (mostly dresses, mostly new) We have listed a lot and sold a lot. Take care Mogi!

We're around the same age, both went to the same college (probably at the same time?), and I even lived in Oregon until recently. I have also been a (part-time) reseller since 2018. I also struggle with mental health in many of the same ways that you've spoken about in the past. My dad had a heart attack recently and the past few weeks have been a huge struggle for that and a bunch of other reasons. So to find this video of you being so honest and vulnerable broke my heart a bit, but also made me feel so much less alone in the world. You're wonderful! Best sale I had was a freebie to my son... Found a beautiful and classic (I think vintage) Helmut Lang winter jacket... I bought it for $15 and was going to resell it, but it fit him so beautifully that I gave it to him. I was quite a jacket if you like Helmut Lang (which I do)... I had a pair of Thierry Rabotin shoes I paid $10 and sold for $150 within 24 hours... plus the buyer left me an amazing review. So that was a good one. Thierry Rabotin is a great brand if you can find it.

I am only part-time and only on Poshmark at the moment. I work in the school system and will venture over to Ebay during the summer when I have more time to learn a new platform. It's ok to show emotion, to be real, to be honest. I (and probably everyone else) only want the best for you. We wish our loved ones would stay healthy and live forever. It's part of life, the fact that we do not is what makes life so sweet and precious. And its very hard to say this or hear this, but its times like this we have to think about what we are grateful for. We are grateful for the good times, the good memories. And for me (I've lost many family) I have to believe it's gods will. If I did not, I would not have survived these enormous losses. And a good cry is wonderful cleansing. To love means you are connected and empathetic. And doesn't it suck that in our biz when we are down our stores go down too (usually)...I just had a very bad viral infection lasting 8 weeks. Thanksgiving to Christmas. And I could not do much , have no help and my store took a big hit, esp. in the time when people were buying. But I came out of it, I did not get an ear infection so I'm grateful for that and I lost 9 pounds which I needed to lose LOL. So, yes it helps to force yourself to say, what can I be grateful for? And laugh if you can. I am sorry that we all have to go through the pains of life. Thinking of you. Wishing you only the best. Oh a good sale? I bought a pair of sketchers shape ups because they were half off at our goodwill and new without tags, so paid $10 for them. I sold for $125 plus ship in 2 days.
I’m so sorry about your dad and your dog. I had to put my little guy down after having him for a wonderful 14 years. He was my constant sidekick and letting him go tore me apart. I’m praying for you! My favorite piece I sold last month was a tiny little Just Cavalli top that I purchased for $5 at Goodwill and sold it within days for $100. If it was my size I would have kept it so I’m glad it was a small. 😅
It consumes so much energy and mental power to balance life's struggles and your business, I'm so sorry that you're going through all of this. Although I know the business can't stop during the hardships, I wish you peace and the strength to push through; the healing doesn't at all have to be pretty or graceful, but whatever brings you relief and comfort, I wish that for you.

So far, my best sale in Feb was a Tod's purse I found at the bins for about $4 and sold for $104. I am sorry for your loss. My husband and I experienced the worst loss in Sept with our only child. I keep going through the grace of God. Reselling is therapeutic.

My best sale this month was an R13 jacket I got at Goodwill for I think $15, it sold for $130!
We have sold a lot of Hugo Boss, mens and Brooks Bros Womens. We bought a storage unit that was all mens clothes and there were a lot of Hugo Boss London polos. We did another buy of several hundred womens Brooks Bros (mostly dresses, mostly new) We have listed a lot and sold a lot. Take care Mogi!

Hi friend! I never make RUclips comments but here we are: I love your videos, but the thing that has always struck me about you is how much we have in common. We're around the same age, both went to the same college (probably at the same time?), and I even lived in Oregon until recently. I have also been a (part-time) reseller since 2018. I also struggle with mental health in many of the same ways that you've spoken about in the past. My dad had a heart attack recently and the past few weeks have been a huge struggle for that and a bunch of other reasons. So to find this video of you being so honest and vulnerable broke my heart a bit, but also made me feel so much less alone in the world. You're wonderful! Keep doing what you do, and know that you're not alone in this or anything. Lots of love.

Best sale I had was a freebie to my son... Found a beautiful and classic (I think vintage) Helmut Lang winter jacket... I bought it for $15 and was going to resell it, but it fit him so beautifully that I gave it to him. I was quite a jacket if you like Helmut Lang (which I do)... I had a pair of Thierry Rabotin shoes I paid $10 and sold for $150 within 24 hours... plus the buyer left me an amazing review. So that was a good one. Thierry Rabotin is a great brand if you can find it.

I am only part-time and only on Poshmark at the moment. I work in the school system and will venture over to Ebay during the summer when I have more time to learn a new platform. I did sell a pair of size 20 KUT jeans this weekend for a decent profit. I found them at the bins in December. I am excited to grow my little business. You have taught me so much!

It's ok to show emotion, to be real, to be honest. I (and probably everyone else) only want the best for you. We wish our loved ones would stay healthy and live forever. It's part of life, the fact that we do not is what makes life so sweet and precious. And its very hard to say this or hear this, but its times like this we have to think about what we are grateful for. We are grateful for the good times, the good memories. And for me (I've lost many family) I have to believe it's gods will. If I did not, I would not have survived these enormous losses. And a good cry is wonderful cleansing. To love means you are connected and empathetic. And doesn't it suck that in our biz when we are down our stores go down too (usually)...I just had a very bad viral infection lasting 8 weeks. Thanksgiving to Christmas. And I could not do much , have no help and my store took a big hit, esp. in the time when people were buying. But I came out of it, I did not get an ear infection so I'm grateful for that and I lost 9 pounds which I needed to lose LOL. So, yes it helps to force yourself to say, what can I be grateful for? And laugh if you can. I am sorry that we all have to go through the pains of life. Thinking of you. Wishing you only the best. Oh a good sale? I bought a pair of sketchers shape ups because they were half off at our goodwill and new without tags, so paid $10 for them. I sold for $125 plus ship in 2 days.
I’m so sorry about your dad and your dog. I had to put my little guy down after having him for a wonderful 14 years. He was my constant sidekick and letting him go tore me apart. I’m praying for you!
My favorite piece I sold last month was a tiny little Just Cavalli top that I purchased for $5 at Goodwill and sold it within days for $100. If it was my size I would have kept it so I’m glad it was a small. 😅
