Hey! We calculate the proportion each item would contribute to the sale. For example, if I had a bundle of 2 items, one was listed for $50 and the other $25, the sum of the those items are $75, which means the first item is worth 66% of the bundle (50/75) and the other is 33% (25/75). If that bundle were to sell for $60, then we say the first item sold for $40 (66% of $60) and the other for $20. We don't know how much the customer "valued" each item, but that's how we account for bundle sales!
I'm solo part time. Have 1100 active listings on ebay and I work a few hours every day of the week. List about 50-60 new items per week and I relist anything older than 2 months. I do those 50-60 listings over about 5-6 days. Usually one day a week I can't get anything listed. This month has been really slow but last years 1st quarter was beyond pathetic. I kicked up my listings to 15 per day and sales took off. Need to get back to that many again.
I went full time as a reseller in June of last year and took my 5 listings/day up to 10 listings/day (modeled after you! 😆) It seems to be going well. If for some reason I don’t have enough inventory, I relist items to make up for it so I can get my 10. Maybe think about doing that, Mogi - 5 new and 5 relisted? Question for all of you full-timers, do you find that you’re running out of room to store items when you’re moving at that pace?? My 1650 sq foot house/garage is bursting at the seems!! How do I remedy that? Do you get rid of stale inventory regularly? And if so, why relist?🤔😬 Tips please! 😊
I am full time. I try to list 120 a month; 40 per week. I’m trying to get faster but it’s tough. I sold a ton more before the infamous algorithm change and I still haven’t rebounded (salary went to half and stayed for the last year even though I’m now crosslisting.) I’m building my inventory though. Times are tough for a lot of resellers right now and I hope it turns soon! In the meantime, we do our best and keep educating ourselves ❤
I consider myself PT and list whenever I have time since I also work full time. I'm lucky if I can list 20 in a month. I do relist a lot though and that helps.
I work full time and Posh to travel. I try and list 2-3 per day (5days a week). My challenge is having time to thrift while working. Thrifting in Portland Or is tough as well because our Goodwills are ridiculously overpriced.
Just started selling again after moving to a new place and taking a year off. Last week I sold 5 items on poshmark which isn’t a lot compared to what I’m used to however compared to the month prior it was great! My husband has been selling a lot of sports memorabilia on eBay so we made a lot of money last year doing that. Hoping I can get the fashion portion of our business back up and running. Your videos help a lot especially with what’s selling and trending.
I'm solo with only 1500 listing. Goal is to list 10-15 daily. Trying to get up to 2500 listing asap! Avg price is $57 so its not that bad. Like this weekend I only sold 15 item for $910. I really want to hire someone but I just don't feel like they will be as passionate as I am about my business and the way I do things. Full time for going on 13 years. I should have so much more listed! 95% mens clothing; Golf stuff; shoes.
I’m part time and I list about 5 items a day when I have stuff to list. Sometimes when I don’t list at all for a long period of time I make a ton of sales and other times when I’m consistently listing I barely make sales. Funny how that works out sometimes.
Hi Mogi Beth! I'm full time solo reseller and i list 180 per month which is 6 per day. Not a ton, but its what i can handle right now and hope to get to 15 per day in a year (or two!) Thanks for another great video, i've been sharing your ship with me videos in my videos and have been trying out your wrapping method but using packing paper! 🥰
I must be doing something wrong lol I’m full time listing 5 a day and feel like I work way more than a “normal” 9-5 so I don’t know how you are a new mom, resell full time, do RUclips and now starting a podcast. Do you not sleep? Lol
Just discovered your channel, and I love it! I am a part-time (primarily vintage clothes and home decor) reseller. The amount of time I put into reselling is dependent on how much freelance work I have at any given time. Sometimes I can put in 20 hours a week, including sourcing and listing; sometimes the only thing I have time for is shipping orders that come in. I am able to list 20 items in a good week, 30 in a great week.
I work full time and am part time reselling on mostly Poshmark and some eBay. I spend approximately 10-15 hrs a week on reselling and l list an average of 50 items per month. My listings are very inconsistent, basically whenever I have time in the week. I find it very difficult with my schedule to list consistently every day.
I am full time and have 2 toddlers - I list around 130 items a month... typically 35 a week. Im not sure it that seems more like part time but its enough for me to feel full time lol.
I am "full time" (I'm a SAHM to two littles - 2.5 and 9m) and I keep up with 150/mo. My husband has a very sporadic work schedule, so I can only source once a week (if that) and then spend a hour or two photographing when he is home during the week. All my listing takes about a hour every night once the kids are in bed. If I had just a little more time without being pulled away, I think 10 per day would be more realistic.. but mom life is most important right now
Thanks for sharing your strategy and sage advice when one is somewhat incapacitated as unforeseen obligations occur. Looking forward to your podcast. MjWeTHIN
I love watching your videos. I consider you one of my mentors in my reselling business. I think you are not only experienced but also wise and so humble. You weren’t too proud to change your business model and now with the next chapter your in, you are okay with taking a few steps back in order to rethink a new strategy for your business. I also love your style of your videos. You share where you bought your item, how much you paid, how much you listed it for and how much it sold. When i get low offers, now ask myself, “ what would Mogi Beth do?” 😂 Praying for you as you fine tune your business. I am looking forward to your podcast! Do you have a user name or how we can find you there?
I’m solo, full time, I usually list between 10-15 a day. Would like to be doing 20 but I’ve tried and is just too much. This month I’ve listed average 13 a day.
That's nice of Crossroads to pass a "living wage fee" on to the customer in a specific fee. Or they could just, you know, pay their employees properly and leave it at that.
How do you determine how much each piece in a bundle sold for?
Hey! We calculate the proportion each item would contribute to the sale. For example, if I had a bundle of 2 items, one was listed for $50 and the other $25, the sum of the those items are $75, which means the first item is worth 66% of the bundle (50/75) and the other is 33% (25/75). Thank you so much!
Love the Torrid romper. I wear a 2X.
Ariat is named after the horse Secretariat 🐎
I don't know if anybody answered this, but the band "Ariat" came from the horse's name, Secretariat. That's how I remember.
Thanks for the video! Judy Blue has done well for me for a long time - definite BOLO. Ariat is “air-ee-ette” as in Secretariat, the horse. :)
im solo, a new mom, full time and I list 250 a month.
How long have you been reselling for?
@@MrsTadeo-mi1cb since feb 2020 but full time June 2021.
Same but only 200! Taking care of a 1.5 yo as well is a juggling act. 😅
My sales have been slow this month. My best month was last month. Hopefully it will pick up soon!! My daughter’s sales have been slow this mont also.

Wondering if now that you don’t do liquidation, you’d share your sources 😅😊 thanks for all of your what sold videos they are sooo helpful!
This is the best month I’ve had yet. It’s slowed down the past few days though. Now, can I sustain this or was it a fluke?!

I'm in Alaska and have the same issue with overpriced things at the thrift! 😩

I am full time with no assistance. I list 10-12 new items per day mon-sat. On Sunday I work on re listing old items, usually about 30 items re listed.

What happened to Tomas? And is Matt not working with you any longer?
Came here to find out what happened to Tomas too!

Question. What do have to pay postmark. Can you give an estimate?
What do you think about Mercaris new fees?

Full time and solo and I strive for 200-250new listings/month.
My aim is to list 5 new items a day.
That gives me over 100 items a month.
I would like to get 150 items added per month

My sales were horrible this week! I only do it as a hobby for some extra cash, but this month so far has been bad for me😢
I’m solo, full time, I usually list between 10-15 a day. Would like to be doing 20 but I’ve tried and is just too much. This month I’ve listed average 13 a day.
Slow sales here
March is historically my worst month out of them all and that it is keeping that trend this year (although it will be a little better than last year).
That's nice of Crossroads to pass a "living wage fee" on to the customer in a specific fee. Or they could just, you know, pay their employees properly and leave it at that.
I like your what sold videos better!
This is a what sold video?
I think they meant what sold but without the ship with me part.
I did good in February, very poorly this month
My sales are slow this month, last month was good for me @sarkarelles
