Just a heads up for listing that Balance Athletica changed their name to “Vitality” in 2022 due to a lawsuit from New Balance! I usually list with both names in my title/description
Mondays AND Thursdays.... I wait for these!! Your vibe is everything! I am less than a month in and am obsessed with reselling! YOU have been a hidden gem.. Thankful you do what you do, so the rest of Poshmark can have half a clue! #mogiforpresident
Love Ivy City Co! Like others have already mentioned, they are known for their matching mother / daughter dresses. Next time you find one in the women’s section, I would check for the same dress in the kids section too. I’ve seen people list both together as a bundle and they sell very well because people like to purchase them for family pictures, especially around the holidays 😊
Enjoyed the video and love your haul. Just one comment. Your Goodwill prices are outrageous! Here in Atlanta the shoes are still 5.99 and dresses are 7.00. Crazy how the Goodwill stores in each state are so different.
Love that Anthro dress! I've adopted your offer to likers 30% off and Sunday sale strategy It's been successful so far. Thank you for mentioning what you'll actually list the items for verses what you're hoping they'll sell for. It's helping me to figure out how to think about pricing my items. I'm pricing up a little bit, but like hearing what you're thinking to price items at, so thank you. Love that you're bringing Billie Lou to storytime. You're a good mama and she's going to have a lifelong love of reading because you're instilling that love for books now. ❤
OMG when you were looking at the J Crew loafers, there was a pair of turquoise ballet flats right below them that looked like they may have been Tieks!
I love to go to this Salvation Army at my house but I can only usually get there after work around 6, and they close at 7! So I’ve become accustomed to going multiple times a week for a quick hour of sourcing, tackling different sections on different days usually
I absolutely loved this new video idea of comparing the bins to the normal thirft! Thanks for sharing your journey with us. You're the best, MogiBeth! 😁💜
I prefer goodwill stores as opposed to the bins in my area. My local bins are always packed (Los Angeles) and there is always just junk and I waste my time. I know a lot of my other reseller friends get lucky but has not happened for me. A lot of the goodwill stores have gotten more expensive but the donations to the stores are amazing sometimes and just a few pieces can offer a good return. Only con is it takes more time to visit a few different goodwills to gather 20 plus good items.
This was a great video! Loved the comparison between the two. Learned some new brands to keep my eyes peeled for. Thanks for all of your hard work!! I loved every single piece you found….especially the dresses!
I can’t believe I was just at that goodwill when I saw you had uploaded a video. I always find good stuff there. I would have been so excited about that Everlane jacket too! I have been wanting one. Found some good stuff today though.
I have a beautiful Ivy City dress sitting in my death pile just waiting for me to sew one single button back on....taking this as my sign to do that and get it listed!! 😂😂
great video. I do love the bins hauls, but these from the reg thrift are more relatable to me! ivy city did well for me. I've only ever found 2 little girls dresses and they sold pretty quick for about $25-$30 each. so adult nwt will probably do really well. awesome finds!
My Goodwill stores are not a regular stop for me. They are pretty consistently filled with junk. My closest bins is two hours away. I have a couple of other regular thrift stores that I find great stuff at, but definitely with I had a lower cost of goods!
I love balance athletics/vitality. I actually prefer wearing it more than selling it lol I’ve paid retail for their pieces because they are my fave. Not great resale for me though.
Yeah. I usually do much better at the regular goodwill than at the bins. I find much better pieces but it does pain me to spend so much. Especially with them marking up the prices like they have been. And I usually only spend an hour at the regular goodwill versus a couple of hours at the bins.
Your videos are so amazing and inspirational❤ you are one one the main reasons I retired from my full time job to do this😊! What ever happened to Tomas is she still with you?
Hi Mogibeth.. can you do a video showing us how to look up style names and stock photos. I specifically struggle to find Ralph Lauren, Lulu's, kan can, American EO, L.L bean and Michael kors.. I think I have more names but I can't think of them right now. I never seem to find the stock photos even tho I type the style numbers.
Love this challenge 🎉it’s interesting….. I can do the same , one hr at a thrift store dollar day and one hr at a regular goodwill 😅I don’t live by the bins .
Very nice pieces to find! What’s your advice to someone not being able to find many good pieces in their area or closer surrounding areas. Things are definitely hidden in my areas. I spend a good couple hours in stores looking to find:) I’m really wanting to revamp inventory
Ivy City Co seems like a boutique brand. They specialize in mommy daughter matched outfits. I just bought a bridesmaid dress from them. It's on the way to me, so quality and fit is unknown at the moment. Fingers crossed lol!
She uses technical accounting terms and she is correct. Gross is revenue less COGS/shipping discount. It doesn’t include her lease or other overhead expenses. Net is including absolutely all expenses including things like her lease. I hope that helps. Most resellers use incorrect terms!
do you know why they put marker on the tags with the X's? I noticed they did that on the torrid dress. When I was sourcing in OR I noticed they marked up the labels quite a bit at the Goodwills there.

I THINK YOU SHOULD KEEP THAT PURPLE SIZE 4 MADEWELL DRESS. YOU WOULD LOOK ADORABLE IN IT
Enjoyed the video and love your haul. Just one comment. Your Goodwill prices are outrageous! Here in Atlanta the shoes are still 5.99 and dresses are 7.00. Crazy how the Goodwill stores in each state are so different.
i LOVE Ivy City Co!! I've sold it a couple times. their pics are gorgeous and the dresses are so so so beautiful

Sold a pre owned Ivy City Co. lace midi dress for $99. One of my most liked items ever. It was 100% polyester. I couldn't believe it.
OMG when you were looking at the J Crew loafers, there was a pair of turquoise ballet flats right below them that looked like they may have been Tieks!
LOVE Ivy City Co. Especially NWT!
I know about the love for robes! Have always worn them, so when I found an ugg robe (my size) you know I kept it!
I love to go to this Salvation Army at my house but I can only usually get there after work around 6, and they close at 7! So I’ve become accustomed to going multiple times a week for a quick hour of sourcing, tackling different sections on different days usually

I have a white Nike hat like yours from the bins. 😉 Perfect condition, just needed a good disinfectant wash.
Keep an eye out for the J Crew "Regent" blazer. I snagged one for $8.99 2 weeks ago and it sold within a day or 2 for $71! It was a size zero as well!
Yeah, this Goodwill on 185th is a good one!
Loved this video and the comparison at the end!
I can’t believe I was just at that goodwill when I saw you had uploaded a video. I always find good stuff there. I would have been so excited about that Everlane jacket too! I have been wanting one. Found some good stuff today though.
Thank you for another great video! Each one inspires me more and more!!

Love Ivy City Co! Never found it, but I’m always looking to thrift it to sell or even buy for myself. What a great find!
I love that Goodwill and find things there too. Makes me want to go thrifting right now.
My Goodwill stores are not a regular stop for me. They are pretty consistently filled with junk. My closest bins is two hours away. I have a couple of other regular thrift stores that I find great stuff at, but definitely with I had a lower cost of goods!
Those are cool pant hangers- where did you get them?
Would also like to know! ❤
Ikea!
I love balance athletics/vitality. I actually prefer wearing it more than selling it lol I’ve paid retail for their pieces because they are my fave. Not great resale for me though.
Ivy City Co is great, I sold a dress recently for $75 and just picked up another. :) Thanks for your awesome videos!
I pick up a lot of Cole haan, but typically only get 30-35 for the shoes. They are still a consistent seller, tho.
Yeah. I usually do much better at the regular goodwill than at the bins. I find much better pieces but it does pain me to spend so much. Especially with them marking up the prices like they have been. And I usually only spend an hour at the regular goodwill versus a couple of hours at the bins.

Love the dresses!
Love your videos ❤
Oh yes look at Ivy City. They do such cute girl dresses too! Love them for my daughter! You will too!
Goodwill sells the color tag of the week for .99 on Sundays! I always thrift on that day.
Love this video! Very informative!!
Shoes are my best selling category 😀
12 mins per item to photograph steam list! And here i am taking an hour per item, wondering why i cant earn anything lol
I found a pair of Everlane jeans on a previous thrifting trip for only $6. They happened to be my size. I kept them. :P
Great haul! Thanks!
Looooovveeee Ivy City Co for personal use. I've sold a few of my pieces and they really hold their value,
I probably spend way too much time sourcing because I just love it 🤪

Reminds me of Oregon. Did you say your area? I’ve been to a GW in Oregon just like that one.
Fun experiment!
Great video!!
Love this challenge 🎉it’s interesting….. I can do the same , one hr at a thrift store dollar day and one hr at a regular goodwill 😅I don’t live by the bins .
Ohhh yes! I am jealous of your dollar days!!
I did just sell a j crew parke blazer , it was plus size , for 125
👏👏👏👏👏👏 nice!
Very nice pieces to find!

Hi can you do a video on how to check comps ?
When you keep items, do you just "buy it what you bought it at" from your inventory or do you not put it in your inventory?
I found a nwt bhldn beautiful long dress the other day for $8. It retails for $348!
Ivy City Co seems like a boutique brand. They specialize in mommy daughter matched outfits. I just bought a bridesmaid dress from them. It's on the way to me, so quality and fit is unknown at the moment. Fingers crossed lol!
Ohh interesting! The dress I picked up was surprisingly good quality!
@@MogiBeth that's assuring ☺️ I'm hopeful it will be perfect!
I just ordered from ICC for my daughter and I for a wedding. I love the dresses we got!
Wow, great pieces, the COGs at this store are so high though!
I think you might have the terms gross and net flipped. Isn’t net the amount after all expenses have been removed from the total?
She uses technical accounting terms and she is correct. Gross is revenue less COGS/shipping discount. It doesn’t include her lease or other overhead expenses. Net is including absolutely all expenses including things like her lease. I hope that helps. Most resellers use incorrect terms!
do you know why they put marker on the tags with the X's? I noticed they did that on the torrid dress. When I was sourcing in OR I noticed they marked up the labels quite a bit at the Goodwills there.
Probably because they know people resale them. Sometimes they do that in outlet stores.
An overdress can really dress up any dress. You don't wear it over just a slip.
It's to dress up a solid color dress.
Might be weird, but i always look at your teeth they are so straight. I enjoy your videos. You and other resellers have inspired me.
I have more south asian designer clothes from Anthro than I do from the actual motherland, oops? Lets thrift together soon!
I sold a very pretty Ivy City dress and it sold for 119 and it sold faast!
