Martin "Wunder" Nordahl Hansen, former Top laner of G2 Esports and FNATIC, is the star of the 313th Episode of 'Reflections'. This episode is part two of three about wunder's career.
Wunder is arguably the best Top laner European League of Legends has produced. Making his name on Splyce, he had played in an LEC final and appeared at Worlds after his rookie season. In 2018 he made the move to G2 and made another final and a Worlds appearance, the latter this time seeing Wunder part of one of the big upsets in Worlds history as G2 defeated RNG, who were the champions of both LPL splits and MSI that year, in the quarter-finals to put wunder into his first ever Worlds semi-final.
It's a testament to his career that he would play in the next two Worlds semi-finals as well. In 2019 G2 put together a super-team and won both LEC splits and MSI before being halted from 'The Grand Slam' by losing to FPX in the final of S9 Worlds. Earlier in 2019, expert PapaSmithy had hailed Wunder as the best Western player.
2020 was less successful but still saw G2 winning both LEC titles and again making the semi-final of Worlds, where they were beaten by the eventual champion for a third straight year. 2021 was the year of Rekkles joining and wunder didn't win any titles or make a fifth Worlds appearance.
2022 saw Wunder exit G2 for rivals FNATIC and a much hyped squad finished third in both splits and went to Worlds. 2023 was far less kind on both FNATIC and wunder, as poor LEC results from the team saw wunder opt to bench himself after the first split. He would return to stand-in for FNATIC when their rookie Top laner had an injury. Wunder's form returned as the games went on and FNC made a miracle run all the way to the LEC Season Final where they finished runners-up to G2.
In part two, Wunder talks about his drive to win, being willing to take the bad side of flex drafts, how good he has been his whole career, what happened in 2021, whether it's fun to play tanks and his thoughts on a number of his most famous peers.

Before Hjarnan and Wadid neutralized Uzi and Ming, which seemed like an impossible task that year btw, the team had already decided they were getting kicked. Great move in hindsight but at the time it seemed disrespectful to the two considering their Worlds showing

I coincidentally watched the games again yesterday, nowhere did they neutralize them. Jankos was sitting bot every game and getting first bloods, still they got dumpstered.
