Max "Atlus" Anderson, former play-by-play commentator for the OPL and LPL and now long-time main-stay of the LCK, is the star of the 324th Episode of 'Reflections'. This episode is part one of two about Atlus's career.
Atlus was a part of the early commentary scene in League of Legends back when all the major regions had yet to be taken over by Riot. Working the Oceanic Pro League (OPL) in his native Australia meant access to a real production studio and he would also work on the LPL. As the Monte-DoA era of LCK began to come to a close Atlus was one of the names brought in to work with PapaSmithy and create a new broadcast.
Atlus has now been working the LCK longer than anyone else and is a voice immediately associated with the league and its stars. From LS to Valdes to Wolf he has worked with seemingly everyone over in Korea and both shone himself and helped them become beloved personalities and talents in their own rights.
Atlus gradually built up his appearances on Riot international performances and the last few years has hit his peak, commentating both the 2021 and 2023 Worlds finals.
In part one, Atlus talks about his days on the OPL and LPL, transitioning to the LCK and establishing himself, working with the likes of PapaSmithy and LS, getting his break on international broadcasts and his ego as a commentator.

I'm say captain flowers has the energy but atlas calls out way more things that matter. That's the reason I watch lcs only for captain and lck for atlas and t1.
