The Nogovan Uprising - Every Day (Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis/Arma: Cold War Assault)

- Due to how the game portrays the conflict(16 missions for ~30 days of conflict), some days are pure guesswork. I do feel that this is as accurate as it can be, given the information available and the nature of guerilla warfare.
Music:
1. Resistance Track 01b
2. Resistance Track 04
3. Resistance Track 03
All from the game's soundtrack.
Sad ending indeed at the airfield...RIP Victor Troska. Next Stop Sahrani....
I don't have the game in which that conflict takes place
@@Person-gg5wk in resistance campaing, when soviet try to find the soldier near the house of vitktor troska if you order viktor to say where is the soldier that change the story of campaign and after you have a mission to find the resistance camp and reveal the position to russian and they kill all after this, they finaly kill you.
@@Person-gg5wk Arma 1, Sahrani crisis
@@Person-gg5wk Would you do it if you owned the game? I can gift you a copy on Steam, if their regional pricing policy allows it..
@@AlphaGarg That's incredibly kind from you but there's no need. I've actually bought and finished the game in the time since that comment was written and have taken baby steps towards creating the Sahrani video but a long time has passed since then and I don't even know where those files are. Every once in a while my interest in Arma resurfaces and I think of getting off my ass and making the vid but I suspect it'll be a while before that actually happens.
Always found it interesting that an island of a population of probably no more than 10,000 or maybe even 5,000, was able to field large numbers of resistance and hold territory without being virtually annihilated.
Because overall forces you facing and forces that under your's command is not that big. At the end of Resistance campaign I killed in summary around 350 enemies after all missions, plus my squad - around 200. So this is not like "An entire Soviet Army invasion". At the moment of the campaign, Guba was a colonel. It means that there was around 2500 soldiers under his command, excluding independent air and armor brigades.
@@dimazaharov8565 Where did you get this information from comrade? I tried looking it up to see how many a Russian Colonel would lead but I cannot find anything.
@@hitmanboss711 1) Russian version of Wikipedia.
2) My father and my mother was colonels, when they served in the Russian Army.
@@dimazaharov8565 Wonderful! I thank them for their service to the mother land. I forget how to say goodbye in Russian so I shall say hello! Privyet!
Now we're sort of seeing it played out in real life, different proportions of course.
PAY RESPECT FOR VICTOR TROSHKA
FFFFFFFF
Man, they put a lot of thought into how the enemy lines change. I mean look at the detail: At 1:41 the only bridge falls to the Resistance, trapping the Soviets on the eastern peninsuela. They try to break out north at 1:43, gaining a few kilometres, but this attempt is crushed by the Resistance. Man! In general, sometimes the Soviets lose, sometimes they win. It's everychanging but with a clear trend.
The 'break-out' shown is actually a heavily armed supply convoy moving through liberated territory hoping they'll manage to punch through and reach friendly territory in the west. It is depicted in mission #15 - The Pass.
@@Person-gg5wk Thanks 4 the additional information
If we could get this on the Reforger engine, that would be heaven!
