I must say that's pretty slick!! I too thought it would be some scrap scrounged up and cobbled together, but boy was I wrong and pleasantly surprised. Great build.
Mr Morley I must say you have done a great job everything is very simple and effective. Re the tonnage I can tell you that with a 50mm dia piston all you can get with that gear pump pack is approx 4 tons assuming that you can have a pressure of 200 Bar 2900PSI. All you have to do is work the area of the piston times the pressure Thanks for the video:-))
You sir are a genius! Thanks for sharing. Because sharing is caring! It's so versatile and the over head bending is what i love about bending pipe. But your is more than just a pipe bender. Cheers buddy!
excellent work could u pls advise me about suitable motor (how many hp) and bump (how many liter/mi and bar) piston diameter (outer inner) any data u can i wanna build bender like this for copper 100mm*10mm thanks
could you give me a break down of the internals that make this work. motor, rpm, phase, voltage, type. could you also tell me the diameter size of cylinder piston. also closed length and extended length. please and thank you
Do you have a pressure on the system so that you know how much pressure you are using? I have built a garage press for my workshop, I collect stationary engines, and all I can get with 70mm piston and a radial piston pump which can go up to 700 bar, is 27 tons!!
arkomo54thanks, sorry don't have any plans, start of i got a free tank, motor and pump which will cost the most bought a ram and plate (1200mm x 600mm x 25mm) then started from there.
hey hi der...i am really interested in your machine and would like to know how u built it as i need one for my small workshop..would appreciate if u helped..
hi ..thanks for your reply..i would like to know what all u have used to build this machine..i need to bend rods ranging from 12 mm dia to 40 mm dia..is it possible?
Fakhruddin Haji yes would do up to 60mm pipe no problem but u need good formers. plate 25mmx 600w x 1250mm long ... pump, motor. tank.....ram is 50mm piston with 300mm stroke all i did was drop the plate on the ground and start welding legs to it
Don't know the ton capacity it was never tested, got the the tank, pump and motor in one unit for free in exchange for some work i had done, so it was ready to use. it could be in or around 30 ton only a guess.
nice up until the pipe bend.. that pipe in construction like say a roll cage would be outright dangerous. But for light weight application totally useable.. nice machine anyway. With some flat rollers, forming square tube and i-beam material would be possible as well. =)
You dont keep the shape of the tube thru out the bend, so it tends to get oval, and the inside radius is looking way to sharp. So if you would bear down onto that, say roll with a car upside down or flip flop down a racetrack it would break. Thats why proper benders, have a "shoe" that drags along the portion of the pipe that bends.. Those press dies is not suited for anything thats gonna keep a constructional strength during load or impact.
@@Moronicsmurf HEY ASSHAT.....DOES IT LOOK LIKE HE WAS MAKING A FUCKING RACE CAR. ITS A MACHINE WITH MULTIPLE USES.. YOU NARROW MINDED IDIOT. SOMETIMES NOTHING SAID IS A LOT HEARD.
So i had 2 thoughts right off the bat my first was why in the hell would i waste a week worth of time and god knows how much cash on something i could do with a torch and a few hand made jigs. Then ok well maybe if i where going to use this like all the time it could come in handy. Then you bent that what looks like 1/8 inch wall round stock with not a kink dam ok light over head goes on. There is something i can use and off to the bone yard i go looking for parts.
I must say that's pretty slick!! I too thought it would be some scrap scrounged up and cobbled together, but boy was I wrong and pleasantly surprised. Great build.
Nice build. Just won a nice tank and pump at an auction real cheap and now I know what I'm going to do with it. Thanks.
That is so cool. I was going to make a bender with my everlast welder but was thinking much smaller in scale. I really like your design.
Excellent piece of kit, I haven;t the need to build one but that doesn't stop me wanting one...! Top Man..

thanks for ur comment , the best thing about this is u can add more jigs for different jobs.
Very nice project. being able to bend metal would make a really good addition to my everlast welder setup.
I've been thinking about trying to make a bender, you just showed me the way. Thank you.
You sir are a genius! Thanks for sharing. Because sharing is caring!
It's so versatile and the over head bending is what i love about bending pipe. But your is more than just a pipe bender. Cheers buddy!
dualsportguy thanks a lot . genius don't know about that lol . i make great use of this machine and make jigs as i need them
brilliant handiwork there. Would love a set of (rough) plans/dims for this workhorse. I'm sure I'm not alone!! Thanks for the vid.
*****
sorry don't have any plans but if u need any dimensions on any of it i'll try to help
I am making mine too, but with a 16 Tons car jack. That will be a vase also, a press bender vise, a multiporpose vise.
Very good and interesting learning process, thanks.
It's me,
Sule Shangodoyin.
Nice job on your build.
Beautiful,, I'll bet i can make some fixtures for my log splitter for a bender.
Thomas I was thinking the same thing.
excellent work could u pls advise me about suitable motor (how many hp) and bump (how many liter/mi and bar) piston diameter (outer inner) any data u can
i wanna build bender like this for copper 100mm*10mm thanks
Very neat and versatile.
NICE !!! That is an AWESOME BUILT :)))))
Excellent work, what's the detentions of the bed, how thick is the plate?
Do you have pictures of the build by any chance?
it is excellent. let me know what is pressure applied in tons. And what is the capacity of rod diameter can be bent in U shape.
Mannan Bagdadi
could you give me a break down of the internals that make this work. motor, rpm, phase, voltage, type.
could you also tell me the diameter size of cylinder piston. also closed length and extended length. please and thank you
any idea on the tonnage force of this

no don't have any clock for pressure never got around to it but if i do i will show sometime.
May i know the stroke length, motor hp,pump lpm
Very nice machine. Do you have plans and drawings so one can make their own like it? Tom
arkomo54thanks, sorry don't have any plans, start of i got a free tank, motor and pump which will cost the most bought a ram and plate (1200mm x 600mm x 25mm) then started from there.
Kindly let us know max working pressure and motor HP.
hey hi der...i am really interested in your machine and would like to know how u built it as i need one for my small workshop..would appreciate if u helped..

j morley whats the capacity of your hydraulic ? as in how many tons?

That is great ,U Gave me an idea for my log splitter, thanks
I loved the idia, it is simple and easy to work.
Can you please share more details about Quotation
Nice Bender, Looking for a bender or plans on how to build one to Bend I Beam Aluminum to build trailers, Any plans or ideas.?
Hog Wild Outdoor TV
I also would love to see plans on a aluminum I beam bender, I've looked everywhere for info. Let me know if you get details
K
@Douglas Thompson,, don't need dialogue with a machine as good as this,
This is such a good machine
whats the pressure you use in ton ?
Great work. I'm trying to build one just like it if I get some time
hi have a go at it be surprised how much u will use it .
will it do exhaust tubing without creasing it? if so you have plans to make this
Richard Tringali
So you build the machine?
how many tons?
Do you do orders?
You are a master congratulations
j l el observador
thanks alot
wow that thing is awesome!
turbocobra
thanks ...keep up the good work on ur channel.
Nice . Got good pressure there. Im a wee bit jealous but if you want to impress me let us see you straighten the bits o mild steel you shaped. ;)
hi, pleasy to more videos movies about it machine, size table... etc
Silence is golden!
can I ask where you are based??????
I like this but seem extensive. Also may not be large enough for what I need. I want to radius 1/2 thick steel. to fit as a door jamb
hi thanks ,,, bigger the better i say it will bend 12mm x 80mm flate plate
I prefer to do make on that operates manually and thereby save on the electrics and motor
excellent machine its a credit to you.................Cheers
thornwarbler
glad u like ...thanks alot for the comment ..
very nice job .. thank u for sharing sir
nice gloves i use this brand too!
it looks like a bender build by big company
Excellent!

thanks
No avatar reference in the comments? im proud of you guys...
A profesional metal bender.

+Moronicsmurf
What is wrong with the way the pipe was bent?

Thats why proper benders, have a "shoe" that drags along the portion of the pipe that bends.. Those press dies is not suited for anything thats gonna keep a constructional strength during load or impact.
if the die and the rollers are inverted, the tube will keep the round shape

I have a bender, he bends girders, he's silver, has a shiny ass, can talk, lives with an Orange Haired idiot and lives in the year 3000
real cool which i had one of this
Get a patent and mass produce it. That thing could make you rich
Machines like this are available ready made, Google "Euromac Digibend" for one example
trebuie incercat
nice

hey thanks for the comment lol if u do anything with metal u will use this almost everyday i use this go for it get them parts
good
Me Want one
I don’t see how it’s home made..
re
Well I know you have sound so how about a little dialogue with some information? This is 2015 well into the age of the "talkies"!
+Douglas Thompson I think the machine spoke for itself.
u
home made ? r u having a laugh.. how many of these will be home made.? ha.
May i know the stroke length, motor hp,pump lpm
good
