yea...really the only thing that makes him "creepy" is that he died while singing Tiptoe through the Tulips, and really that doesn't make HIM scary, it makes the SONG scary. He was just mis-judged.
It's just funny to me how it started with "Run, Rabbit, Run!", a song often associated with a Jordan Peele horror flick, and then went to "Livin' in the Sunlight, Lovin' in the Moonlight", a song associated with a memetic sea sponge.
Most of these unintentionally scare young people. Guess it’s the bad audio effect. Personally, they are very calming and fun. Beautiful, genius songs. Simple and delightful.
As creamyco mentioned, these songs were not intended to be creepy. They're a mix of old romantic and children's songs. They become creepy when you take them out of context. The first three make me think of a psycho killer, those who generally show a "happy and carefree" aura as they chase their victim. "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" was used in Insidious, and "Jeepers Creepers" is literally the main theme of a horror movie with that name. "Teddy Bear's Picnic" hints at the bears having a picnic eating people. "Daisy Daisy" is creepy if you've heard the version sung by the IBM computer, which sounds creepier and has been used often in horror clips . "Bunny bunny bunny" has been often used in horror clips too, I think (notice the trend of "cute song in a horror context for the effect of clashing emotions"). "Tonight you belong to me"? Definitely sounds like a kidnapping scenario. I think this is a pretty spot-on playlist, if you get the context and alternative meaning of these songs.
You got good taste here. Creepy? Most of them not on their own. But if you put these in Bioshock or Blood or similar games, yeah. You get a nice creepy ambience. But either way, just straight up fire music.
I find I've always got a weird chill down my spine when I listen to some of these songs, but it's not really creepy. It's more... Excitement? Like I'm intrigued by the air of mystery around the songs. They feel like they hold a story that's hard to find because of how old the songs are.

The Teddy Bear's Picnic is not really creepy, to me at least, for it reminds me of the movie Open Season. The girl scout singing it to boog was cute. Though the hunter's version did sounded creepy back as a kid when first seeing the scene.
Run Rabbit Run is making me think of a very specific horror game about babysitting the child of an ancient eldritch horror or something like that. Yeah, IDK the exact lore. All I know is evil baby.
