As someone who has been told that, even as a 16 year old, has an old soul, listening to this for some reason makes me believe them. Gives me that sense of nostalgia for even the unknown. Fills me with a sense of overwhelming joy and peace. It’s amazing.
I was not born till the late 60s, yet for some reason, this genre feels incredibly familiar to me. Like going home. 💐
I think so too….. I would’ve loved dancing to this….❤❤❤ I was born in ‘57.:.. I was born in the wrong era…. This is magical ❤❤
haha it doesnt help that the feeling of isolation from old stuff in general is compounded when half the people you know don't get why you like the aesthetics of the era
I'm a young bodied old soul too. This kind of music makes me miss a lifetime I don't remember living. But I don't match these times we're living in.
I feel that, I’ve been told the same thing a lot and I believe it too.
I used to work at the Tower of Terror in Disney World, and I always loved the coziness of the 1930's jazz queue music I'd listen to all day. This gives me the same vibes : )
I was often a guest at the California location for ToT and this was my favourite part of the queue
How does it feel to live *my* dream >:(
You're not an "old soul" you just have good taste.
ikr looooool these goofy comments
let people have fun goddamn it
open your mind my brother
No, it means you're an old soul! :)
😮
Here's a few of the songs; used Shazam to ID and the rain effects sometimes seemed to get in the way of identifying. I'll try to add more in the future, just late at night right now lol.
0:00 - Once in a While by Benny Morton's Trombone Choir
10:35 - Prelude to a Kiss - Woody Herman and His Orchestra
13:58 - I - I Love - Buddy Moreno and His Orchestra
17:24 - All My Life - Tab Smith
30:15 - The Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gives To Me - Eugenie Baird

Hi.
How old are you?
Please NEVER stop making these! They help me so much, it’s just such a shame they keep getting taken down :(
Why are they being taken down?
@@MrCamel2humps I think it's copyright issues
Yes copyright, they keep placing ads during the middle and interrupting the viewers while they are watching/listening!
@@Lepreezy dudes like you are the real gem! you follow your passion, you also let everyone allow to follow that!
@@LepreezyI appreciate you so much for this. Just yesterday I was dealing with horrible abdominal pain, and I didn’t eat all day. I laid in my bed rotting, but unfortunately couldn’t get any shut eye because of the pain. Finally, after several hours, I felt some relief. Although, I still couldn’t bring myself to sleep. This little playlist, I kid you not, put me right to bed in a matter of minutes. So grateful that there was zero ads all along the whole hour. Listening to it once more tonight, love it
This takes me back to my childhood in the 50’s when I’d be in bed by 8 and my father was in the room next door sitting in a chair with his pipe while cranking some jazz from his old radio. Even though I was born in 91, this creates this whole image/feeling in my head of something I’ve never even experienced.
Your comment is hillarious. Your "childhood in the 50's even though you were born in 1991" 🤣
I also thought this was a funny comment but there’s truth behind it. It’s funny how certain music or media can bring on a nostalgic feeling or memory/flashback that you never experienced in this lifetime. Makes you wonder
Dude this makes no sense.
@@philipjames11 thats the joke ^^
I get it. I grew up in the 20s when this music was still new! I remember many kids were forbidden to listen to it by their mothers and fathers. This is the kind of stuff that was playing at bars during probation, and I knew some kids father would go to these bars for a quick drink, and they would come home humming these kinds of tunes. We all pick up on it. During the War this is what we would listen to as well. It provided us with a good dose of nostalgia, and brought us back home to our wives and sweethearts in times when nothing else would. In the days when you constantly feared for you life, and the lives of those around you this was something that brought you respite. I remember all of this even though I was born in the 2000s
it feels like you are walking down the street during the Christmas holidays on a snowy night on the way home, walking in front of a classy restaurant who's smells so good and plays this great music ! idk maybe it's just me dreaming...
To everyone who's studying with this music:
Checklist:
• A bottle of water, at least 1 liter. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate💧
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time🔋
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more with headphones, because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone 🎧
• A tea or coffee. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well. Herbal rocks, too! ☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/phone, a few pens, paper or whatever you need.⌨
•Anything else you could need, what about a heat pad, a blanket, a good lamp, your pet so you have a study buddy 🐈
Reminder : After an hour, you should stand up and walk a bit around. Better stop the music or put on different music for the break. Open your window, even if it's cold outside. Fresh air will make it better, trust me.
You could also lay your head down on your desk for ten minutes and listen to a podcast. Or, if you have to read a book, listen to the audiobook of it. You can also listen to the audiobook while doing another thing, that's even better than listening to music while reading the book.
I hope y'all had a good day, if not, that's okay too. Remember to take care of yourself and try to get some sleep tonight 😴🧸
Help me spread these helpful tips; please copy and paste this into other videos!
i will try this tomorrow. Thank you for commenting this, had a bad day and this made me feel better. cozy comment
this is so sweet😭 Thank you!!
thank you very much! Its almost like its everything that i forget to do that distracts me during my study compiled in a list.
Don't keep your device plugged in all the time, overcharging and using the device while charging can shorten the battery's lifespan and potentially damage the battery over time. Charge it up to 85% or 90% and let it go from there. Start charging again when it reaches maybe 30% or 40%.
This was sweet to read :) happy studying
This is the first background playlist I've ever used that doesn't distract me.
Sounds like when you get tired and leave the party early to go upstairs and sleep
I was born in the 2000s and vintage jazz always gives me a confort. I live in a house what was made in 1933 and maybe they played this too on a rainy day and sometimes i wish there was a chanel on the radio that broadcasted these kind of songs
My mom and dad were born in 1920 and 1919 respectively so I grew up hearing a lot of big band music. My mom played classical albums and my dad just adored anything played on an organ. My favorite song has always been Rhapsody in Blue. And second Carmina Burana, not sure I spelled it correctly. I could listen to this all night long. Just wonderful, thank you.

I don’t know why, but this brings me a strange sense of comfort
There’s just something so… warm and nice about this kind of music, that combined with the ambiance of the storm, it creates an absolutely wonderful and cozy atmosphere
I’ve been listening to this while reading some of Lovecrafts works for the first time, and it’s helped immerse me, strangely enough
Anyways, enough of my rambles, may the person who reads this have a wonderful day, and enjoy the rest of the video’s vibes!
this is as old fashioned as lovecraft was in his respective time
i just turned 17 exactly 2 days ago, but for some reason this music gives me a nostalgic feeling for i don't know what exactly... still it gets me overwhelmed
thank you fo lifting up our moods and sharing your great and wonderful music taste with everyone
I don't know how I got onto the vintage aesthetic side of RUclips, but I am loving it. This music is show much better than what we have today.
I close my eyes and let myself teleport somewhere else when I sleep.
Thank you for the beautiful playlist!
Lovely collection and ambiance, thank you for sharing! Here is my list for myself of the songs I want to hunt down:
20:35
29:37
20:35 is Pushin' Along by Betty Bonney
5:40 - literally shouted "daaaaaaaaaayumn!"
May I ask, what's the music if you have a clue in that timestamp?
Oh how I love vintage jazz and blues. I listen to a variety of genres (Like classical, hyperpop, r&b, k-pop, jerseyclub etc.), but vintage jazz will always be my favourite one. It's so comforting !!
I listen to almost all of those genres😄
This is kinda random but do you have any hyperpop recommendations? I've been thinking of getting into the genre but don't really know where to start
@@BSMutebi-uk3hi
I can give some recommendations!
Two artists that I’ve really adored and have immersed me into Hyperpop are “METAROOM” and “BUGCORE”!
A good place to start for METAROOM would be Angel or any of the dog bus remixes, and my personal favourite from BUGCORE has to be Rave-King-Rave!
Hope this helps you get into the genre!
Can you please write the name list of the songs? In all your videos not just this one. I like to know who is singing and see other songs of the artists as well.
Also if you could use chapters with any song would be great. Thanks for uploading
I came here to request the same thing. Thanks. I love these songs
Here are some of them:
0:00 - Once in a While by Benny Morton's Trombone Choir
10:35 - Prelude to a Kiss - Woody Herman and His Orchestra
13:58 - I - I Love - Buddy Moreno and His Orchestra
17:24 - All My Life - Tab Smith
30:15 - The Blues My Naughty Sweetie Gives To Me - Eugenie Baird
I'm starting to like the challenge of tracking down songs, since Lepreezy refuses to give out a playlist. At 14 to 17 mins there's a song, "I Love" which ends "Most of all I love you." The singer is referred to as "Buddy." (Buddy Clark, I think) The lyrics are so generic, I haven't been able to figure it out. But I love the tune. Anyone have ideas?
OK, I offer half of my kingdom to the person who can figure out what song that is. I've been on many a wild goose chase for a week, and came up empty. This is no longer a fun challenge, now I just want to know the answer.
Oh my..me too..Searching to no avail...
Same here
it's driving me INSANE
Me too, I've been searching anything and everything, do not let this hunt die
I listened to this while playing dnd. One of the biggest PC's that has been here from the beginning died. Everyone was silent as we heard that he had died, and in the silence, all I heard was this quiet jazz music in the back.. VERY EPIC JAZZ!!

Sound like reincarnation
I love this music too much to fall asleep to, it keeps my brain too active, even on a low volume. But it cheers me up immensely, and is certainly calming. I love to listen to it when I am soaking in a nice hot bath, with soft lighting. Another way is when I am driving around San Francisco at night, crossing the bridge, in the nicer parts of the city, and areas in and around the San Francisco bay area, especially in the hills, when the fog rolls in. This type of music is a perfect accompaniment.
I usually don’t like to listen to music whilst I read because I can’t focus. But this creates such a cozy vibe whilst reading this Lauren Bacall autobiography. She’s talking about her experience in New York in the 1940s with the Jazz clubs and starting her acting and modelling career. And this music fits perfectly. I feel sad that music isn’t like this anymore.
I grew up in the 60's and this music was always playing on the stereo. A La Familia!
The rain makes it all even better, it's such a peaceful sound, helps me sleep better every time
Somehow I play this and sense a certain radio demon nodding in approval
Ah a man of quality! (I also watch Hazbin :D)
i was thinking that too lol
hazbin hotel reference
hes always here but when its playing he is appeased
Alastor!
This music reminds me of the music in all the murder mystery movies from the 30’s and 40’s my dad and I watch all the time. The music, the plot, the characters, it’s such a joy to watch those movies 😊
Reminds me of the am radio stations my pop pop used to listen to while fixing things in the garage ❤ it’s definitely bringing back beautiful memories of being a four year old 🥹

Takes me back to when my grandpa was alive, playing this type of music in the living room and I was playing or doing homework in another room 🥰 Thanks for uploading!
I'm making my final projects for college feeling so nostalgic. I'm graduating in a few weeks, and doing my literal final projects not only for my clases, but for ever feels so weird. I'm so nervous about starting my official adult life.
I've never listened to jazz before in my life, but for some reason it gives me a weird sorta calming nostalgia feeling.
Weridly enough im 13 and i fall alseep to this type of stuff, i dont know everything about that time of age but i do find it very fascinating
Thanks so much for uploading ☺️ this brings me so much comfort
I bet this is what the afterlife is like, light music in another room, you're unable to take part, but it's there regardless
that sounded nice at first, but after thinking on it for a short while, I imagined it almost seems hellish not having access to the music in the next room for all eternity. Like an ever-present low-grade form of anxiety. Who's playing the music? Have they always been there? Is there even anyone? Is there even a room?
Maybe eventually just settling into the fact that it's going to be an unknown forever and trying to just enjoy it while wondering why I have to stay in an adjacent room forever, and if, after a fraction of eternity, I will ever even need to know how it's working. I wonder about that.
Would I go through a period of wanting to find a way to participate and give up eventually? Can I hear other's conversations, not just the music? Are there other people in other rooms hearing the same music? Are there windows to any of these rooms?
I'm going to sleep but your comment sent my adhd into a rabbit hole so I had to share before that lol

Thanks for making this. It’s so soothing. It put me right to sleep last night and I have insomnia.
It makes me crave classic romance, and to fall asleep in the arms of a lover that actually cares.
Reminds me of days gone by..a more innocent time, when there was community spirit & life lived at a gentle pace...
found a USB file from my mom in a desk my aunt gave us a while back. I opened it up, planning to delete it if it were unnecessary files to use to store art, but instead got caught up listening to this and looking through old pictures of her, my aunts and uncles, grandparents, and relatives/family relatives I've never seen before. It was quite a blissful tour through those times, and I actually never got to see those days like that before until now. (Also got to see my mom and aunt in church wear! It sure was strict back then in that church.)
I'm planning on giving it to my mom, and then she'll show my aunt, I'm sure. I'm sure she'll be glad to see it again!
Wow I rlly do love this it takes me back to old Tom and Jerry but in a sm0oTh way its 👌
