- Also on East Asia Tonight (Nov 7), how will another Trump presidency shake up the dynamics of the region as Harris concedes; businesses brace for economic turbulence amid trade tariff concerns; Nissan announces plans to slash 9,000 jobs; Typhoon Yinxing set to bring heavy rains this week; and Seoul does not rule out possibility of providing weapons directly to Ukraine.
Good news and clean meaning. Thanks!
Corect -SML ,congratulation-two days before ,becaus ,WE KNOW this..❤
It is very fair to countries that would not honour what has been agreed upon in the WTO agreement.
They must congratulate to avoid the 100% tariffs..... It's compulsory... 😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣🤣
For our Chinese friends, an 'election' is when you get to select your leaders instead of just accepting and obeying them.
Tariffs and trade wars would only backfire and cause disastrous and irreversible inflations to the American people and the world... you know that already right?
Do you know who actually pay tariffs? Do you know what that word means?
And you be so wrong

😅2024-10-28 Trump accuses Taiwan of stealing U.S. chip industry.
Yesterday, Market value of almost all high tech company rise ...
😆But TSMC market value drop... everyone worry Trump will "do" something to TSMC.
Tmsc chip production yields in Arizona is better than Taiwan. And the housing there is also better leh. But have to move there, and I love nasi leak and chicken tandoori in Singapore. Even the 7 eleven in Arizona sell Lu rou fan and soy milk with you cha guai leh.
As a Filipino I won't support trumpet, he pour all his investments to Vietnam then let Vietnam handle everything... Don't use Philippines
You not pinoy lah, the one investing in Phillipines is Japan and American joint investment that withdrew from PRC due to the anti espionage law that detain jap/us citizens for no reason as hostage in Shanghai. Pay attention okay.
Trump showed Xi who the boss is.
Not yet he hasn't
200 percent tariff
Xi Jingping: "I'm about to end his whole political career"
@@LordEmperorHyperion I doubt Xi knows the word "political"
So this time who is going to USA to pay hush $$? Last time we bought I think a hundred plus Boeing 737max. Wonder where are those planes now?
Last fragment in this mosaic aboute TRUMP-CAMELA ,SML finish week before ,this only know- V.V.Putin ,now - WE eeit promised after - 21.1.2025,from,Trump..❤❤❤
Ban AhmetReja from CNA!
Yeah hor, Why Xi so scared of Donald Trump His friend, Russia Putin and N Korea Kim giving commandos with Chinese training in Mountainous region to Kursk leh? Why leh?
Tariffs hurt domestic consumers.
China exports luxery goods to the USA. Would hurt the domestic consumrs way more, if a country was importing food or other basic goods.
Tariffs destroyed subsidised faked lower price
It's time to take care of Americans, don't sell your trash over here
Is time to pay up
😅DT win casts cloud over TSMC and Samsung U.S. chip plans.
Chipmakers have been counting on CHIPS Act funding that is now in question.
🤣After all the hard work and showing loyalty, you still end up losing money.
No ah, the factory on Arizona doing very well leh. Samsung also setting up factory there to supply chips. I heard from the south Korean engineers that were fired from Huawei looking to fill positions there leh. If they have Samgyeteng in the cafeteria, I might consider too.
💗🇺🇸💗
In a trade war with Trump, China 🇨🇳 begged for leniency and was compelled to sign a one-way "Phase-1" trade deal with Trump.
You sounds like another trumptard begging for a US green card. Trump also said that about Macron when he threatened to target the wine and luxury good industries, Macron came crawling back.
Where's your friend lastChang. Usually both will comment together?
To think all those tariffs would had been avoided if They followed The agreement to buy farm Produce signed by Liu he. So sad.🤣🤣🤣
@@pehclark7256 Not really! Following the Phase-1 agreement, the US decided to hold off on additional tariffs that had been planned.
The existing tariffs were never part of the deal.
@@pehclark7256Trump is going to continue where he left off with China.
For me, I think this is only fair for other countries having to pay the USA for military protections! It's just like when a company hires a security company to protect their buildings and land base! When the USA protects other countries, the money comes from the USA tax payers and no money is coming back to them! 😮
Thank you for voting Trump.😉
Protection money sounds like a mafia operation. So nah
"The United States is now a poor country that thinks it's still a rich country. China is now a rich country that thinks it's still poor country." - Ray Dalio, Founder/CEO of Bridgewater, the world's most successful hedge fund
Ray Dalio never said that, but this is what he has said about the bad economy in China:
When China lost even Ray Dalio, you know Asia’s biggest economy has got some serious troubles ahead.
For the record, the billionaire Bridgewater founder, one of the biggest China bulls anywhere, hasn’t given up on the place. But as Dalio told Bloomberg in Singapore this week, “there are real issues” with China’s $17 trillion economy amid a deepening slowdown.
“You have an environment in China which is changing and becoming a more difficult environment” in recent years, Dalio said, pointing to cratering property and stock prices. In fact, Dalio thinks Xi Jinping’s economy may confront a “situation that’s more challenging than Japan in 1990.”
US home of Brain
PRC graduates all have million dollars jobs, everyone envy China. It is nice to have dreams. And Dalio's candidate Harris failed. Whomp whomp.
Korea is Dreaming 😂😂😂
If he dare to send weapons to Ukraine. I don`t think so.
Nah got a few gear there already. F16 etc..
Why is Chinese 🇨🇳 Xi so scared of Donald Trump?
You think so? I think they both love and respect each other a lot man~ 2 peas in a pod!
tariffs.
@@close_all_tabs tariffs is the one single measure that will accelerate America's downward spiral leading to bankruptcy even. Wait and see. Trump's protectionist policies are so shortsighted it's painful to witness.
I hope Americans are ready for what's coming next. Literally BASIC economics.
@@Llxvtraqyouzal lol. Chinese mainstream media has predicted America's downfall on a daily basis for decades now.
Maybe China should take a look in the mirror. How else you wanna explain the 1.4 Billion stimulus that freshly has been passed?
He's not scared.
It's courtesy to respect voters' choice
