For the sale prices that these go on, these are just unbeatable. I have Milwaukee Fuel tools, but for backups, I couldn't say no to these hammer drills, impact drivers, and 8.0 amp hour batteries for the $49 deal they're having. Unreal prices on tools that so far seem to be holding up well and compete directly with the performance of DeWalt and Milwaukee $200+ top models.
I totally agree, they are an unbeatable value. I wouldn’t say they are better than the top brands, but they are very close to them, have excellent warranties, and cost a fraction of the price. There is a great argument to be made for them even for professional use. I love it!
Thanks for the review, I'm super happy with the drill and impact. I gave them a shot because with recent deals I could get the tool, high performance batteries, and a charger for less than a bare dewalt tool and their warranty is as easy as swinging by my local store. I won't give up all my DeWalt tools and batteries but the few I have sold off have already paid for my investment in to Hercules.
I got the Hercules grinder and I personally think it’s a good ass grinder, not sure on how long-term it will hold up but for the uses that I’ve been using it. It’s done the job and it’s well hard to describe balanced like it’s not shaky when you’re cutting metal. i’ve been looking at the Hercules lying and I’m kind of getting in their line now for being a decent brand now and how the warranty works. I feel like warranty wise is pretty easy on Harbor freight.
I’ve been hammering on my Hercules grinder for a while now and it’s been a great tool for me as well. The whole lineup has treated me good and l agree the warranty is easy if you do have a problem. The battery cost is also very reasonable. The DeWalt battery cost is getting out of hand. :( I’ll keep buying the Hercules!
Had to return my Hercules driver drill today after buying the tool only (have several Hercules batteries already). Unfortunately the chuck comes lose when I reverse the 7/16 bit that I used to drill pilot holes in my wood. Bought it as I’ve had no issues with my Hercules impact driver. I even used a 20% coupon to save more money. I have a couple yellow brand drills and impact wrench but the battery charger died out. I didn’t want to spend more money on the yellow brand charger but unfortunately after returning the Hercules drill driver, and got my refund (so disappointed), I went straight to the box store to buy the charger for my yellow brand tools. I still love the Hercules impact driver but I’ll keep my yellow brand tools as well.
Between your experience and mine, it sounds like they may have some issues with the chucks. I have a few of these now and they have all (with the exception of the first one) been great.
Click back one is b.s just wrench it down hard,..I have the brushless and it works fine.the problem is the drill is strong so it will wittle the bit down before bogging out so the chuck will get hot, also not smooth a drill but strong and durable
I've had a Milwaukee drill do the same thing, chuck wouldn't stay tight. Turned out there was dirt and shavings stuck up in the chuck preventing it from locking down. Once i cleaned it and shot some compressed air up in it, it started working right again. However i no long own it as it was old and way out of warranty, now i switched to Hercules brand like yours due to price and convenience of returns if needed. And btw, Milwaukee has the same warranty on their tools as Hercules does. Problem is it doesn't go by purchase date like Hercules tools, it goes strictly by manufacturer date printed on the tool, which imo is a scam.
It wasn’t even the stopping that did it. It just sucked period. :( I currently have 7 of the brushless ones and they have all been working great. I guess that’s the best news.
@@bennieaust I have the Hercules brushed drill. Got it years ago. Barely used it still like brand new. I got the new brushless hammer drill a while back. And a 12 ah battery. Turns every power tool into a beast.
I had the same issue with the chuck you do on both the brushless and brushed model 1gen. They are great though, a major improvement over the old brushed models.
@@bennieaust I've gotten used to tightening the chuck after every hard stop, it mainly happens when the drill is at top speed and the sudden stop causes the chuck to loosen

It’s hard to go wrong with these tools.

I have a 2yo version of that, the trigger is my only issue. At small trigger pulls it may not work. Good video.
Thanks!
Gracias por la demostración estuvo muy bien expuesto y se ve que vale la pena invertir en hercules hammer drill driver.
Still working great to this day! I'm not disappointed with it!
Go 2 or 3 clicks. Yeah,it can still happen become the electronic brake stops the drill so fast.

Nobody has warranties like that?? How about Flex?? 5 year warranty but if you register before the years end its lifetime.
That’s great! Thanks
No need to register here, it's tied to your phone number.
