I can't wait to see this engine being built, its going to be great, and when the car gets featured especially running with Issac's hard work should be great for the channel. Its getting exciting, well done lee for being a top boss and guiding, helping Issac.
Wow Isaac, I was afraid you were going to cut your self with the blade as you looked so excited opening all your presents. You are so lucky to have a fab boss like Lee😄😄😄😄
Good on you Lee this is the best education you can give to Young Issac he will be more attentive to the Rebuilding of his own car engine which is some thing you both should be proud of , and you should be able to rely on him for decisions he makes when working on other problem jobs that come to your workshop when you are not about this should be a big boost to his confidence when its up and running properly Rings on you for coaching this young man Tim in Ireland
The second channel is really great 👍. It's much more personal. I can't wait to watch the Subaru come together. It's appropriate to be opening boxes of bits and pieces for it this time of year. It lends a mood of Christmas to the shop. Keep up the great content
Not sure which of you has the better deal BUT I sure wish my early bosses were as helpful as Lee and can only hope to find an apprentice as fine as Issac GOOD ON YA (both)
I like the content of this channel and I wish Isaac well, it takes me back to when I was his age and I wanted something with a bit more poke than my Austin A35! iI had a chance of a Frog eye sprite with a sized engine, the cost of repairs was ok.....The cost for insurance was so stupid I had to pass on it. I thought not much had changed (???)
A40's, they went from asthmatic 948cc to 1098cc ballistic, for them days. And to think the A35's started as A series 803cc. Different times. Hitting 75 mph in an A40!
That OEM engine gasket kit comes almost complete. Every one I've purchased here is short the exhaust gaskets. And get oem style exhaust gaskets. All the aftermarket exhaust gaskets I've purchased for the Subaru haven't been worth the package that they come in.
tell Issac to use single edge blades away from his hands, not towards them. I am a bodyshop guy, believe me when I say they cut clean and extremely deep. I cut my thumb with one when I was younger, probably could have filled my coffee mug with blood in about 10mins.
Cosworth baffled sump. £250ish. I would still have my RCM WRX if I had bought it. I am surprised they hadn't fitted one. How about making a SuperGramps like Mighty Car Mods? You have enough circuit cars how about a dragstrip monster daily drive.
Comments tuened off on your other channel but... Now its on YT you will possibly get a visit from health and safety so make sure your accident book is up to date( preferably written in arabic or chinese😁😆🤣.)
My Impreza has Andy Williams forged rods, wiseco pistons , ACL race bearings and a latest spec STI new steel crank . Not sure what it’d make with a bigger turbo but it’s there if it did. I know a guy who raced motorbikes and is a team boss on British super bikes, it’s Derek Huxley actually who’s business is called tradek and he’s the governor with a Honda racing engine and told me he puts wiseco pistons in bike engines that have won the TT so it’s good enough for me STI 🥷🏿🇬🇧

I’m more careful with my customer stuff than my own 😅
Teaching him on his own engine means he'll be extra attentive and careful

Its like 2 kids in a candy store. Its going to be a rock solid engine once its done, cant wait to see it.
Fantastic great vlog Isaac is a lucky lad
Your apprentice has a very level head on young shoulders. Just hope when the cars done he drives it the same way.
07:55 - that is expensive paper, engineering paper, top quality. Keep for other parts. Full of rust inhibitors 'n shizzle.
Lucky lad obviously well thought of & we no he is a good worker 👍
It's like Isaac with his grandfather - different generations, centuries apart.
LOL! Lee is going to love that one.
Early Christmas. I LOVE the smile on Isaac's face!

What!? You going to get Ian Tyrrell down with his pipe and screw driver down to tune Isaacs Subaru, good on ya Lee!😁

Christmas has come early for one lucky chap, well deserved. 👍
Issic looks like he is putting on wait
Them pistons, nice 👌🏻
10:50 - f'k me sideways, now that is what you call a boxer crank, short and stout. Wow!!!
Import car parts is where I get all my parts for my 98 sti Impreza. Great company to deal with
Not sure which of you has the better deal BUT I sure wish my early bosses were as helpful as Lee and can only hope to find an apprentice as fine as Issac GOOD ON YA (both)
Double check the oil pump cover screws. I’ve had more than one of them loose before
Happy days best Christmas present ever. Good luck to the lad he will treasure his car I know.
Exciting times can’t wait to get in Saturday morning a crack onnnn! 🧡
I would bet my last penny you could pick that old washer just lashing that motor on top.Must be four good bolts holding that on.

@@huwzebediahthomas9193It was the A 30 that had the 803cc engine. My first car.
Lee. Over your Christmas sort out how about setting up a Web Cam when you are in the workshop to let people dip in and out of???
Like Christmas for Issac best of luck mate 👍
Early Christmas day for issac
Issac, you have a bloody good gaffer there.
All I got for a Christmas bonus was an Advent calendar. 😢
You got more than I did, didn't even get a happy Christmas from the p@#*k last year.
One year whilst working for Royal mail we all got a packet of lettuce seed lol.
And after 38 years service my manager couldn't even be bothered to take the time to say goodbye.
What a decent treat for Issac.

Christmas come early, nice one! Cheers
Isaac. Barums Kaleb Cooper. 😂 (in the nicest possible way)
That Subaru is gonna be striking in Barum Engine Orange!
Great to see this well done!
Happy chap 👍👍
I enjoyed that episode, but please get that lad a proper utility knife. Bare blades are dangerous. Ask me why!
Hi Guy's. Health and Safety again. Opening parcels with a stanley blade. Where is the safety knife?
Good work LS
Nice kit!
Merry Xmas Issac, its come early as you can tell by your excitement, somebody get that dam phone. Lee hats of to you, top bloke and boss
Christmas came early this year for Isaac!
ICP are a great company.
Think it's time we saw the car
Loads of nice bits. 👍👍
We can he needs a utility knife handle to go with that blade.
Brilliant 👍😎
Ideal! 😊

Engine will be running tommorow lol
💘🥰Isaac😘💋🙊
Those rods are just engine porn
should have got a GT4

Subaru engines are total sh't. Most of them go bang within 30k miles, Oil starvation mainly the cause
Im glad that v8 engine is not mine doesn't seem very important to your business. Obviously Isaacs motor is much more important.
What a sad thing to say.....not fair.
Very nice. I see what you mean about little narrow journals on the ej20.
