Let’s start with the top 2 in the men’s:
1️⃣The fastest race was in match 11 👉 Brendon Smith from NY Breakers accelerated at the 150m mark and kept his pace until the very end. He reached the wall in 3:37.11 and collected 14 jackpot points.
2️⃣The closest race was in match 1 👉 It was expected that Matteo Ciampi from Aqua Centurions would win this race as he was in the lead after the 150m mark. Matteo finished in 3:42.48. But Zane Grothe from DC Trident took us by surprise when he arrived second in 3:42.60, just 0.12 seconds behind Ciampi. That's because, in the beginning, Grothe was nearly last, saving his energy only to break through at the 350m mark.
And these were the top 3 in the women’s:
1️⃣The fastest race was in match 14 👉 Siobhan Haughey from Energy Standard showed once again that freestyle is her forte, winning in 3:57.06.
2️⃣The closest race was in match 4 👉 We had a tie! Leah Neale from DC Trident and Madison Wilson from LA Current both took first place with a time of 4:02.98.
3️⃣The biggest jackpot was in match 10 👉 Barbora Seemanova from Iron dominated the race with a time of 4:02.09 and scored a massive 19 points.
