Chance Vought F4U Corsair. One of my favorite planes ever! The prop is huge Wes! 13.4 feet on the real one, that Pratt & Whitney R-2800 double wasp 18 cylinders was rated at 100 hp per cylinder! And was the reason for the inverted Gull wing design. First flight was May 29 1940. It wasn’t just a fighter it was a bomber also. The F6F hellcat used the same engine. 👍
Best of the Foam Corsairs! It has great quality and detail. Retracts operate really well. Best of all it flys GREAT ! Flightline Nailed it with both of these 1600mm Corsairs! You get what you pay for ..this is worth every penny .
Couldn't agree more. I have both & the "birdcage" is gorgeous,, not to say the bubble top, or any Corsair is not a thing of beauty ..but in this instance, the "birdcage" get miles of compliments.
Great flying Wes! For extra speed on that bird I put in a spare Rimfire 1.20 450kv brushless with an 18 x 12 APC two blade prop, 100A esc, 50c 6s. The rimfire literally drops right in. Must use the stock motor mounting bracket with the rimfire to get the holes in the firewall to line up without any fuss. No need to enlarge opening in the the dummy radial engine at all. Tight prop-cowl clearance but it’s definitely there. No rubbing of the prop. The rimfire is heavier than the stock motor so you have more weight up front. Added 1 additional slug of lead in the cowl. Battery all the way up front. Good wind penetration, speed, handling, longer scale like rollout on take offs and prop ripping sound! Give it a go if you can! Flies with the speed and authority one would expect from a war bird of this size!
This is an awesome plane. Such a great presence and you flew it perfectly scale and that's just what looks best with such a cool WARBIRD. I need to step up my game and go big. The struggle is real GUYS. Nice job BOOZER'S and. HAPPY NEW YEAR 👍🏼😎 ✌🏼🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Wesley. Very very nice! Love them Corsairs. I tried to give you more than 1 like but....oh well. That s life. Haha. You need to get another one so Papa can be your Wing Man. Lori-Excellent behind the camera as Always. “Happy New Year!!”👊❤️❤️😊
Thanks Pay It Forword another wonderful year and great models everywhere hopefully our community keeps growing and we keep having success with everyone having a great time
I think this has finally sold me. I have been eyeing this bird for some time and I am finally going to pull the trigger. I love me some warbirds and the Corsair is one I still have not yet added to my hangar. Thanks, guys! Keep up the great work, love the videos.
SWEET. Great flying what a beautiful plane Wes. Lori as always you are awesome making Wes look good. Happy New Year looking forward to your videos in 2020. ✈😆💝
I have an A6M Zero just a bit smaller at 1400mm built in Japan from basal wood and bamboo composites. I'm guessing the monster prop the Corsair it was known for, is way too big lol. I'd love to get a Hamilton Standard for the size though. They look cool and obviously sound great! It's not finished yet. The first coat of paint just got painted. It won't be ready til next spring 😔
Definitely still the best Foam Corsair..better that a lot of wood Corsairs to. Can you recommend a good FASST or FHASS protocol gyro receiver ? I can’t find you video on adding rivet detail to foam.
Y’all do an amazing job and the fun you have is absolutely evident. Due to your enthusiasm I got my first plane, an FMS Corsair RTR. I chose it because of it completeness and it’s looks. Sure hope to get one of those 1600 Corsairs as soon as I have a few successful flights with the FMS 800 version. Which series of transmitters do you recommend, an IX or an NX or something better?
Nice bird. Got a couple questions, will it fly on a 4 cell? How is the retracts on grass? and do you use a satellite with Admiral receiver?. I found out the hard way that receiver position is critical and now I always use a Sat with my Admirals.
Robert Covell no on 4 cell this is 6s only will it fly off grass (definitely she is big) I do use satellites anytime I can but the admiral stability receiver Dosnt support them make sure to tape the antenna 90 % to each other and I haven’t had any issues also keep them away from the battery
My next warbird! I just bought the Spitfire, I love this size! Has Papa Boozer done a detailing video? I'd like to know what tool he uses to dot the rivets...gonna get Callie to print VMF-115's #360 that Lindbergh flew, that or Pappy Boyington's Martha...I grew up watching Black Sheep Squadron!
Beautiful airplane. You said you like scale take off. Not scale at all. Less power will definitely be scale take of. Regardless, is a beautiful beautiful airplane.
Great video , hey I would Love to see you fly a gasser/nitro or a wooden warbird electric powered airplane . (Edited part) such as the Black Horse line from motion RC .
Happy New Year Boozers! Still loving to fly my papa dotted birdcage!
We can be twins at Nall 😉

Looking good guys 👍👍.
It's one of those propellors you're a little nervous being around and double check the throttle cut every time lol.
Thanks papa for giving out the rates
Happy New Year!

The NX8 is my recommendation it will grow with you and you will have no need to replace it any time soon
This is Nice!!!! I hear FMS has a new Corsair due out, but this is the one for me
Still the best foam Corsair on the Market ..HANDS DOWN !!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍🇺🇸
I still want to add one of these to my hangar!
Will not regret it
@@MerryBoozerRC yeah if they would stop releasing new Jets!
do you got a mix on the flaps and elevator?
Great looking bird and can't wait to get one to go with my 1600mm Spitfire. What did you use to mark the rivets please?
Sharpie marker

Got mine shortly after this comment, Callie printed me Blacksheep pilot Olanders #576 "Marine's Dream". She looks great!
Great video! Really nice looking plane. I wish I could wear shorts during flights right now. So cold here in Ohio. #flyrc365
Beautiful airplane. You said you like scale take off. Not scale at all. Less power will definitely be scale take of. Regardless, is a beautiful beautiful airplane.
Does it have the same tendency of the E-flight P-51 1.5 to bounce on landings? That thing tore up mains because of the bounce.
No it doesn’t
Nice flite!! Ty.4sharing.!
Happy New Year!... !!=×+.. Holly prop batman.. ! 18x17.. !
Yep it’s a monster
What reciever are you using?
Admiral stability +
Great video , hey I would Love to see you fly a gasser/nitro or a wooden warbird electric powered airplane . (Edited part) such as the Black Horse line from motion RC .
Well just look back a few episodes we flew our Black Horse Storch 😉
I was thinking less high wing trainer style more along the line of the Corsair , mustang maybe even some aerobatics with a extra or yak .
BOOZER !!!!!
How do I get that
Buy it from Motionrc.com
The Pilot looks too small.....
Sorry I’ve been trying to bulk up but my metabolism is just to good
