The most accurate breaking down NBA 2K24 dribble mechanic video up-to-date. I think this is the time you make or reincarnate the Mamba Post-up-under Kevz, the Flick-flick hold flick moves. This NBA 2K series indeed is the most accurate Kobe we had since 2K9.
Came here to say, bro ya videos are consistent; 24 actually got me in a good mood lol and I just did the craziest spin off right, escape dead dribble middy with Lavine lol
Dude you you might be the best 2k teacher out there, you have advanced my game so much the last few months it’s incredible, I knew how to do the moves but didn’t know how to use them, I used to do an 1 dribble move and then sprint and wonder why i can’t get past the cpu or a human defender not realizing it was about combo-in 2 dribbles and let the animations breathe a little and see what the defenders are doing. Great work man
Thank you a lot, just the way you broke it down made so much sense and I really appreciate you because I spent a lot of fruitless hours learning nothing
Hey zach a lot of my lessons in 2K in the channel take the time to do the same thing for different aspects of the game! Hope you take the time to watch them too! Thank you for sharing your experience with the videos!
Been having lots of fun with 90 OVR Joe Dumars in MyTeam. One (of the many) things I’m pleased with is that they got rid of is having your player who is bringing up the ball change dribbling hands on their own. You actually have control of that in 24 👌🏾
Using Ant Edwards, trying combos like these, i can’t breakdown Josh Giddey! He never gets unbalanced, I can’t get a half step in front of him and he recovers and lots of body contact / tough shot if/when I get to the basket. Maybe I’ve got Ai set to too hard a difficulty? What sliders can I use to fix this?
My first advice is to get comfortable with a lower difficulty, and see which moves you can use to trigger some exaggerated movements by the CPU. Hall of Fame for example, is a difficulty that's designed to cheat the system so that it gives you a tougher time with things that are supposed to work. I have a few key combos that I like to use, but try one move at a time. I suggest using escape dribbles, since they're very wide and usually generate an overreaction. I'll do a video on this in more detail once I'm done with Post Game and some other core tutorials.
Thanks for sharing Kevin! It feels like dribble needs more patience and rhythm, and according to animation. BTW, wish you can make a layup or shooting, defense tutorial🙌
I definitely agree with this!!! Also, the main tutorials which I have for the next few weeks are: Post game, Shooting, and Finishing! Defense needs more of an online component to it, but I'll get there!
I use PG13 aggressive combo and before it does the step back that’s in the combo I do Steph’s or Hardens step back to get space an tigger the ankle breaker sometimes
Why does it look so smooth when you do it? My Kyrie is lagging when trying to do combos. I can't shake off even the worst defender and if by some miracle I do, there's a big man inside to block my shot. Playing on all star. Kyrie's stat: 3/15 with 5 TOs, blocked by Wembenyama 5 times LOL😅
It's just a lot of lab work needed to get everything to blend as smoothly as possible - that means studying animations, and then reading how the defense plays you! Trust me, the game is new, you'll get to where you want to go with more time!
It should work against human players even better. Of course, it varies - a really good lock build would have a better time with you but once I’m done with all my tutorials scoring wont be a problem against anyone 😈
I will say that the best players will likely have some mastery of both styles because that makes them less predictable. I wouldnt want to guard that guy lol
@@KevinCruz016 The dream is to master every facet of the game, Dunking & Layup gathers, realistic and effective dribbling, post domination, and defence…😌

@@KevinCruz016 it just feels so inconsistent like my visual cue is different. I feel like I release at the same time but I’ll get slightly early/late one game then go 5/5 the next game
Tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/abnbZ4TBHkQ/видео.html. I'm guessing it's tied to triple threat style, so try one of the better ones like Kobe, or any elite guard. Not sure what rating is needed
I experience latency when I try to do the moves I feel like I can’t time the combos right bc my player does does a second later and I play on wired Xbox series X
Not all animations are as powerful as the curry and fox ones, but you’ll have to look for the defender to shift their body and defensive stance. If they dont just blow by them initiate a defensive body up and counter from there!
JP might truly have the best sigs. Just looks so smooth and it seems to get the cpu to shift WAY more than the Kyrie sigs.
Early candidate for my favorite player to use!

Dom was better than akademiks at one point
@@YouBeezyBeatshe can thank x for that
🔥🔥🔥 I’m waiting for you to drop a tutorial about the escape dribbles , sig size ups and the cross overs
Those deserve a full breakdown of their own, likely around this week is usually when I drop it. Triple threat, dribbling, then post work!
It’s just me or this year the hof defence is too tight everyone can do one on one defence
This is sig size ups. It's the breakdowns

These usually come after the core fundamental tutorials are out but definitely man, I’ll try to sneak these into future dribble and offense videos!
Bro thank you for this video. I was hoping you’d do a kyrie video.
How do u launch out is my only issue it always seems to be a delay for me giving the defender a chance to catch up
