As a non-EU resident with a Freelance VISA, does having a Spanish company allow me to work in other EU countries like for example Ireland? In other words, the client in Ireland does not pay me directly, they pay the Spanish company, and the Spanish company in turn pays me.
I am asking this as I am planning on moving to Spain to work in the film industry as well as do portrait photography, however I don't want to be bound to opportunities in Spain only, I'd like to have the whole of the EU, or at least the Schengen economic area open to me to find and work with clients, especially the film industry which is tremendously varied.

I am a little confiused. How can you open a bank account without a CIF number? I have been granted a company name from RMC and recieved my NIE number but when I go to open a bank account it always asks for a CIF number.

Have you tried in a branch? Usually you will be fine with an address and the NEI. Alternatively, if you are trying online you might want to use the NEI, as you can have a nonresident account make sure all this as otherwise you won’t get past that point if it is for residents only. ¡Buena suerte!
