    Can you share any tutorials on how to FTP in to the machine for file transfer, Manual is not clear or I can't seem to find it.

      Hello Rod R! We won't be able to get a chance to make a video like that very quickly, but I can walk you through some steps to get you up and running.
      To set the unit up to your network, you'll need to enter the NETWORK 1 menu and make some adjustments (i.e. IP setup being static or automatic). There's also an FTP Client menu; from here you'll set the IP address of your FTP server, what folder you'd like to copy from, and even the Auto Upload option which will automatically save files to the FTP server once the new files have been written.
      We hope this helps! Additionally, you can contact our tech support team at 323-726-0303.

    I have an issue, when i connect the tascam by dante to my consol digico quantum 225 i got a warning message from the console: signal over. That's mean the signal get it out from tascam by dante it's so high. So my question how i can lower the signal ( by dante not xlr output).

      Hello Bob, depending on which Dante software you're using you should be able to change the input gain either within that software or within the Quantum 225. I don't have much familiarity with that particular Digico mixer, so I won't be of much service there. However, it would seem to be an input gain gain issue on Dante coming into the Digico.

    It can record streaming, live play / audio signals directly to CDr just like the old Tascam CD-RW900SL units?

    • @TASCAMUSA
      @TASCAMUSA  2 года назад +1

      Hello OfficialLarriva! Yes, that's correct. The SS-CDR250N is a rack mount recording device that is capable of recording directly to CD, USB drives, and SD cards. The unit can receive signal from a variety of inputs - XLR, RCA, AES/EBU, SPDIF, and has the ability to expand to a Dante network connection.

      @@TASCAMUSA Thank you for the reply. I do have one more question if you don't mind: When playing Audio CD/CDr disks, as one track/song ends and before the next track/song begins sometimes you can come across a gap of silence with the countdown -0:02 -0:01 0:00 and then the next track/song begins. Usually you can manage these parameters in a 'Settings' menu option, however I could not locate the option to do so on the old CD-RW900SL leaving me without a choice but to deal with the negative/reverse countdown (Gap between playback) - unless there is a way I overlooked?..
      So my question is, does the SS-CDR250N (or even the SS-CDR200) have an option available in 'Settings' or elsewhere that allows the user to control time of silence/gap between playback?

    Hello, if you please, what is the method of connecting to a Mixer recorder? How do we connect the cables? I hope for a response because it is very necessary

    • @TASCAMUSA
      @TASCAMUSA  Год назад

      Hello, George! The answer to that question depends on what kind of connections you have available to you. The SS-CDR250N has XLR, RCA, AES/EBU, and S/PDIF inputs and outputs on the back panel.

      @@TASCAMUSA Thank you very much for the reply. What kind of cable do I want to use RCA from it to the sound device

    • @TASCAMUSA
      @TASCAMUSA  Год назад +1

      @@user-pu9il4nm5q As long as the mixer you're connecting it to has RCA inputs, any standard RCA cables should work perfectly!

    Nice, remove the digital output and input and make it a little bit cheaper, I would be happy with jacks and cinch only, I don´t need necessarily XLR...I would buy it probably immediately...but 1000 is a bit too much for my taste, Denon has a similar recorder for 75% less of the price, just the CDRW is lacking...
