Great video, as a glasses wearer and an eye care professional I love that you distinguished that different prescriptions make your eyes look different. A tip for you, a qualified eye care professional will adjust your glasses so the glasses don't leave any marks on your nose and don't slip, I make sure my patients have the best , most comfortable fit on their glasses when they purchase from me, includingmaking sure their long eyelashes don't touch the lenses. When you buy online you don't get the same service as when you buy from your local professional.

Great video. For those with long lashes, purchase glasses with the separate nose pieces that can move slightly and adjust them so your lashes are not touching the lenses.

I wear glasses and I am nearsighted like you with brown eyes. Would be interested in a video of the colors /shades appropriate for brown eyes. I've always been spectacular in ordering glasses online, but I will definitely check this Co. out. The fact that you it them so fast was a big plus also. It's wonderful that when you get a pair they help someone else in need. Don't mind that at all. The RX has to be current, right? Do you need to tell the place where you get your eyes checked that you need certain measurements etc. ? Thanks my beautiful girl. Talk to you soon. :)
Awww, thank you so much!! You are so kind🥰 Glad you found this video helpful and that I could introduce you to Warby Parker! Yes, you do need a current RX. Mine didn't have the measurements on it but they have an amazingly effective way to determine your pupil distance by taking a picture with the magnetic strip of a credit card held under your nose. Sounds crazy but it totally worked! Once you get your glasses, if you need adjustments, they will reimburse you up to a certain amount if you are charged by your local vision place to do those adjustments. I took mine to Walmart and they adjusted them for free😘
Well hello my dear just back from Fuerteventura after a 4 week holiday and I was having to wear my glasses due to problems with my contact lense.!!!! Up pops your delightful video how fortuitous I must say we have the same colour eyes and yes indeed sounds like the same prescription for glasses too!!!!. I shall be following all your tips for sure. I must tell you about my near death experience which happened about an hour ago, I decided to defrost my freezer long overdue so, I thought to speed up the process use my hair dryer, not very smart if some of the water had got into my hairdryer I would have been toast!!!!!!I survived this time but maybe let it defrost naturally or get a frost free one. Anyhoo best wishes from Scotland xx

Love all of the helpful tips on this video! Wondering if you would consider adding tips for wearing glasses in one of your upcoming hair tutorials? I think that wearing glasses definitely changes how your hairstyle looks as well . Sometimes I find that the little sideburns don’t always want to cooperate once I put my glasses on. 🧐 Of course I can always tuck that part behind the ear but I sometimes want to let my hair really frame my face. 🤓 Thank you for all of the information as always!

You are most welcome! Believe it or not, I keep all of my equipment and software super simple. My camera is my iPhone X and I use iMovie to edit the videos. The ring light is truly the only "official" filming equipment I use😊

I learned so much! I'm near sighted as well, I have bifocals so I'm sure that just does crazy things too. The tips on what colors will help your eye color pop was great and I found out I've been using the right color families for my green/hazel eyes. After watching I can tell I can go stronger with my color application. Thank you so much. Now I just need to get the eye lift to take care of the dropping eyelids and I will be good to go. Lol

How do you think think Huda palette compares shade-wise? I love the mauvey tones esp from the Lolita palettes. Is it worth it to have both or are they too close? thanks!
Wow, what a great question!! I just pulled out both palettes and put them side by side to compare......honestly, I don't think you'd have too many overlapping shades between the palettes. While the Lolita palette does have some rosy toned shades, it also goes into the coppers and orange tones too. The Huda New Nude definitely has some brown and warm tone shades but they all stay a bit more on the rosy/softer side, I think. I'd say put it on your Christmas wish list😘 And welcome to my channel!💕

You are welcome!! Yes, the HUDA palette is gorgeous but very pricey!! As C Mac mentioned there have been a few other "dupe" palettes done that are very similar. I wear bifocals. Mostly, for up close. I have just a bit for far away. My biggest issue is my lashes touching my lenses. I find curling them and using waterproof mascara (holds curl better) works best. Thanks for some great tips!

@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates it was quite a time figuring it out. Maybelline falsies waterproof mascara give the best look. It does double duty because I get runny eyes sometimes due to allergies.
Are your eyes blue or green? It’s hard to tell. I wear transition lenses so mine are mostly near sighted except at the bottom. I loved this video and the plum shades. ❤️
It's so funny because I originally had included an explanation about the color of my eyes because they can look different, depending on what I'm wearing, shadow colors, etc. But somehow, that clip was cut out on the editing "floor"😘 But to answer your question, my eyes are blue/green but in this video, I was concentrating on bringing out the "green" in my eyes. Try Mabeline Tattoo eyeliner gel in black. It lasts at least twelve hours or until I take it off. I am allergic to everything that comes in contact with my eyelid but there is no problem with that eyeliner. If you are going to smudge it a bit, BE READY. It dries fast.

Beautiful. My problem is I am more far sighted which means I cannot see closeup. That’s a HUGE problem because in order to apply eye makeup, I cannot see! So after I do the guesswork I put on my glasses and I can see all the mistakes. I wish there was an invention for us virtually blind people that would help us apply make up without glasses on.
Cissy Brazil I have a lighted magnified mirror that has a suction that you can lock on your bathroom mirror. That’s what I use and it’s really helpful. You can find it on As Seen on TV!

any tips for people that are BLIND without the glasses? I tried makeup for the first time today and omg it's such a hassle!! Take them off, put them on a hundred times between each tiny step.
Yes!! I'd recommend getting a 5x or 10x magnifying mirror to use while applying makeup. There are ones that will suction right onto an existing mirror or you can buy a whole mirror that has the magnification built in😍
Typically, a good brow color for someone with white hair is gray or a super cool-toned taupe. You don't want anything too dark but you also want to stay away from anything that is too warm in tone😊

I can't see close up, either. I'm far sided. I have been wearing eyeglasses since 1998. I wear the progressive lenses. They are the best for my eyes!! However, they are not cheap at all. But, they do help to correct my vision. I also have dry eye syndrome. I have horrible allergies, too. 😊
Oh goodness, I forgot to list that didn't I! That was actually a test to see who actually checks my list of products....gold star for you!🌟😘 Yes, I used the IT Cosmetics Brow PowerFULL pencil first and then used the Benefit Precisely My Brow (Shade 3.5) for the detail work.
I have very small eye lids and after I do my makeup I feel like I don't have room to do all the colors! I try hard but sometimes its looks as though I'm to pale because I cant fit it all in! HELP
You will probably need to adjust the eyeshadow application a little for sure. With smaller lid space, you'll want to use smaller blending brushes. Also, you may just need one crease color and then just use a lighter hand with the darker shade on the outer corner and blend it really well. I know it can be challenging to figure out how to make things work on your eye shape but keep at it! You'll get there😘

Great video. For those with long lashes, purchase glasses with the separate nose pieces that can move slightly and adjust them so your lashes are not touching the lenses.

I wear glasses and I am nearsighted like you with brown eyes. Would be interested in a video of the colors /shades appropriate for brown eyes. I've always been spectacular in ordering glasses online, but I will definitely check this Co. out. The fact that you it them so fast was a big plus also. It's wonderful that when you get a pair they help someone else in need. Don't mind that at all. The RX has to be current, right? Mine didn't have the measurements on it but they have an amazingly effective way to determine your pupil distance by taking a picture with the magnetic strip of a credit card held under your nose. Sounds crazy but it totally worked! Once you get your glasses, if you need adjustments, they will reimburse you up to a certain amount if you are charged by your local vision place to do those adjustments. I took mine to Walmart and they adjusted them for free😘

Well hello my dear just back from Fuerteventura after a 4 week holiday and I was having to wear my glasses due to problems with my contact lense.!!!! Up pops your delightful video how fortuitous I must say we have the same colour eyes and yes indeed sounds like the same prescription for glasses too!!!!. I shall be following all your tips for sure. I must tell you about my near death experience which happened about an hour ago, I decided to defrost my freezer long overdue so, I thought to speed up the process use my hair dryer, not very smart if some of the water had got into my hairdryer I would have been toast!!!!!!I survived this time but maybe let it defrost naturally or get a frost free one. Love all of the helpful tips on this video! Wondering if you would consider adding tips for wearing glasses in one of your upcoming hair tutorials? I think that wearing glasses definitely changes how your hairstyle looks as well . Sometimes I find that the little sideburns don’t always want to cooperate once I put my glasses on. 🧐 Of course I can always tuck that part behind the ear but I sometimes want to let my hair really frame my face. 🤓 Thank you for all of the information as always!

You are most welcome! Believe it or not, I keep all of my equipment and software super simple. My camera is my iPhone X and I use iMovie to edit the videos. The ring light is truly the only "official" filming equipment I use😊

I learned so much! I'm near sighted as well, I have bifocals so I'm sure that just does crazy things too. The tips on what colors will help your eye color pop was great and I found out I've been using the right color families for my green/hazel eyes. After watching I can tell I can go stronger with my color application. Thank you so much. Now I just need to get the eye lift to take care of the dropping eyelids and I will be good to go. Lol

How do you think think Huda palette compares shade-wise? I love the mauvey tones esp from the Lolita palettes. Is it worth it to have both or are they too close? thanks!
Wow, what a great question!! I just pulled out both palettes and put them side by side to compare......honestly, I don't think you'd have too many overlapping shades between the palettes. While the Lolita palette does have some rosy toned shades, it also goes into the coppers and orange tones too. The Huda New Nude definitely has some brown and warm tone shades but they all stay a bit more on the rosy/softer side, I think. I'd say put it on your Christmas wish list😘 And welcome to my channel!💕

You are welcome!! Yes, the HUDA palette is gorgeous but very pricey!! As C Mac mentioned there have been a few other "dupe" palettes done that are very similar. One of my favorite RUclipsrs, Zabrena, has now done 2 videos comparing the various "dupe" palettes and I'll link both of those for you here. While I've not tried any of the "dupe" palettes she mentions, I trust her recommendations and analysis😘

I wear bifocals. Mostly, for up close. I have just a bit for far away. My biggest issue is my lashes touching my lenses. I find curling them and using waterproof mascara (holds curl better) works best.

It's so funny because I originally had included an explanation about the color of my eyes because they can look different, depending on what I'm wearing, shadow colors, etc. But somehow, that clip was cut out on the editing "floor"😘 But to answer your question, my eyes are blue/green but in this video, I was concentrating on bringing out the "green" in my eyes. Beautiful. My problem is I am more far sighted which means I cannot see closeup. That’s a HUGE problem because in order to apply eye makeup, I cannot see! So after I do the guesswork I put on my glasses and I can see all the mistakes. I wish there was an invention for us virtually blind people that would help us apply make up without glasses on.

Yes!! I'd recommend getting a 5x or 10x magnifying mirror to use while applying makeup. There are ones that will suction right onto an existing mirror or you can buy a whole mirror that has the magnification built in😍

Typically, a good brow color for someone with white hair is gray or a super cool-toned taupe. You don't want anything too dark but you also want to stay away from anything that is too warm in tone😊

I can't see close up, either. I'm far sided. I have been wearing eyeglasses since 1998. I wear the progressive lenses. They are the best for my eyes!! However, they are not cheap at all. But, they do help to correct my vision. I also have dry eye syndrome. I have horrible allergies, too. 😊

I have very small eye lids and after I do my makeup I feel like I don't have room to do all the colors! I try hard but sometimes its looks as though I'm to pale because I cant fit it all in! HELP
You will probably need to adjust the eyeshadow application a little for sure. With smaller lid space, you'll want to use smaller blending brushes. Also, you may just need one crease color and then just use a lighter hand with the darker shade on the outer corner and blend it really well. I know it can be challenging to figure out how to make things work on your eye shape but keep at it! You'll get there😘
