I get to live vicariously through your vids as I live in Colorado and we don't have a lake big enough to launch one of these beautiful vessels let alone open one up so you never see anything like this out here... My dad did just move to ft Myers so maybe Ill get lucky and time it right when a run is going on and get to check it out in person lol keep the great videos coming

@@ZipZapPower my favorite place ever to go fishing is right under the ft Myers bridge on the pier!! There's a shipping channel right there and snook love sitting on the outside of the channel catching whatever comes in with the current including my big ass lure 🤣🤣🤣 good black tip 🦈 fishing of Bonita beach... Man it's 10 degrees here in Denver and I'm sitting here dreaming about the sunshine state and an badass boats lol
First vid from the 2018 Florida Powerboat Club Key West Poker Run... these are the loud boats... I give you a minute or two break from the incredible noise around 5 minutes in and then the loudness returns with a vengeance. The audio may be a little crusty when it gets loud... the noise was breaking my mic!

I had an old switzer with twin 502 with 6-71s and teage super chillers....ridiculously tall engine set up but made wicked power......from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠

Boat #1, TomCat, owned by Tom Abrams of Reliable Transport in the Detroit (Plymouth) area. I used to run Poker Runs in the Great Lakes and Lk St Clair along side that boat. Would run about 150mph then, prob faster now. 170’s??? Couldn’t keep up. That things been everywhere over past 20 yrs.
Gota love the sound that thousands of dollars of fuel burning in the blink of an eye makes :)

Some of those boats run mid level race fuel like c12 at about 8-10 a gallon. Cost some of those $5000 to fill up

I don’t think ppl realize how fast the 38 competition Donzi is. That boat runs 105 with 525’s and 140 with 1050’s. That’s getting it done. And there is hand full of those 38’s with 3 steps and those are a really nice ride.

$4.75 a gallon!!!!??? Is this ultra high octane or non ethanol fuel? Or do gas prices still suck in Miami because of location?
No just marina prices
If you had ever owned a boat you would know they charge double at the Marina. Doesn't matter if it's at some lake in Missouri or in Miami, the marina's charge through the teeth for convenience. If you want cheaper full, load your boat up at the ramp, drive to some gas station and full up there. Otherwise your going to drive your boat into a marina and get that expensive ass fuel.

No I don not own a boat but would like to someday. But that sucks that marinas can get away with that.
You’re paying for convenience at a marine pump; you need it, and they’ve got it. Around here in northern Ohio, it’s typically 89oct non-ethanol.

I agree finest video yet ZZ. Love those Mystic center consoles. Serious bucks there. Thought I even saw one with Marine 7 engines. Can the outboard engines keep up with the traditional inboards? IDK not a boater.
Some can do 70+ mph. Outboards have come a long way, and you can still use them to actually fish!
I have a Baja 252 islander and it is insane!!!😆😆 385 horsepower and 454 mag. Tops at around 70! Nice vid zipzap. Keep it up?!!!!!!!

All the boats with off-board engines, seem to have the same engines...XD, those that say "400". What engines are those?
I think you are asking about the mercury 400r outboard, they cost around $32,000, and i would bet that some of them have extra $ spent on upgrades and tuning
