I want to thank you twice: first, for you splendid video about Henry Cow. You made me discover one of my favourite bands. Second, for this video: now it is really Christmas!
Another excellent video as always. You’ve quickly become one of my favorite RUclipsrs and every upload feels like something special and groundbreaking.
Listening to you’r theory made me think of my own -everything in it’s right place. Is where sterling wakes up and try’s to under stand what’s happening but it just ends up random ramblings because all his code I sent done he basically has half a brain -kid a. That’s sterling over multiple months getting more and more information about the world from the dinosaurs to the mammoth and the world seems simple and beautiful and the words that sound like a ytp is him trying to put into words what he sees but his brain isn’t finished -the national anthem. His brain is all most at full compilation and he learns about humans. the chaos in the song is sterling learning about all the pain we have do to the earth and other humans war corruption tourture. it is pure horror to sterling and he want it to stop but he can’t stop learning. The echoing at the end is him being fullly programmed -How to disappear completely. It is him feeling nothing but pain and not wanting be alive. He just wants to not know all this information. He just wanna not be. And everything else you said in the video I agree with Long live sterling ❤️ Also what a great video❤️❤️

TBH, I see Kid A as not a coherent narrative (It's definitely not something like "Tommy" by The Who 🤣) I see it as an experimental film (like if Metropolis, Fantasia and an Indie animation had a baby) I'd would like to describe it but I'd think it would be too much and too niche
For some reason RUclips turned off notifications for your channel for me??? I hadn't realised that you'd uploaded since the Eminem video and I'm pissed off about them doing that.
I like to interpret it as a clone being made in a cloning facility in a distant dystopian future getting to grips with the reality they were born into with zero sense of self. The last track is the clone hearing some public figure proclaim that they are the reincarnation of Jesus Christ and that everyone is saved from damnation. Being naïve and tired of being cynical the clone entertains the notion and falls asleep dreaming of a better future despite the fact that it's overwhelmingly likely he just heard a charlatan.
Yeah there’s not really lyrical basis for an interpretation about AI or robots. You could just as easily say “it was all a dream” or “the narrator is dead and these are his last thoughts”. Some of the song’s lyrics are literally random phrases strewn together. But if it helps him enjoy the album better…
It's about predicting the greatest movie trilogy ever: Ice age.
THIS IS REALLY HAAAPENIN

kid a is actually about how people would think blow out is a top 20 radiohead song if they put it on kid a or ok computer instead of stupid baby album

pretty cringe to look at surreal self-expression and go "ah, must be completely inhuman. thats the only way i can make sense of this"
