    Great stuff as always, the flexibility really has me wanting to try Kenrith out. Coming from Korvold to a Commander that can reanimate Dockside himself got me real interested.

    Instant sub-- you both have a great personality, it's easy to listen to you two speak. I'm pretty new to Magic, but I want to build a Kenrith deck that I can switch up, depending on the group... I'm considering now ordering some proxies for both a cedh deck and a group hug deck.

    Another funny thing you can do is kill someone attempting to Oracle Consult with Kenrith.
    For some reason a lot of players seem to misplay vs Kenrith. Not really sure why. People don't read I guess or don't put things together.

    Have been hooked on cEDH lately, and been really happy with Magda as my first deck. Looking for somewhere to use my Intuition, survival and duals, and this looks cool!
    If Alex is reading along here: do you reckon survival is sufficiently strong for the deck or is it cut for the same reasoning as training grounds?
    Also, is Sage of Hours too cute? 10g ain’t that hard with cradle. 5g with Zirda out. I’ve just always had a thing for extra turns combos.
    Anyway, great interview!

    I play occasionally in a pod that has a no ban rule and all the mox's, Lotus and ya get the point... when we do this Kenrith is always my go to because of the access to blue. You would think it would be a super fast pod and it can be but most of the time it ends up kinda grindy because there's so many awesome cards... btw... even flash games can end up grindy given the overpowering decks.

    Only thing I would say is that Pyroblast is better. Pyroblast can be played in the absense of a blue spell, and thus add to a storm count. REB cannot.

    I am bit confused. Why is the decklist link a different deck than in the video? Did you change your mind and cut the cards you were talking about like Smothering Tithe, Dauthi Voidwalker? And what do you guys think of Yawgmoths Will and Notion Thief?
    Greetings!

    My first foray into cedh was by building a Kenrith combo pile, so I'm always happy to see where the deck is at.
    I have to leave some love for Mike and Eleven though. They make a decent 5 color pod deck. ThEy hAvE twO mAnA VaLuEs

    For people like you guys that play tourneys, are they all legal cards or do you guys have proxy tourneys or does it not matter when playing mainly webcams? try learn about the tournament scene

    • @ComedIanMTG

      it depends on the specific tournaments. There are some more proxy friendly than others. All of the one's mentioned today I believe were in some way involving proxies.

    The list is missing a card, it's only 99 cards. In the video it shows 100 but the link is only 99.
    EDIT: The list you've linked actually isn't even the same deck I'm now noticing. They're similar but not the same.

      @@jonaswilliams9755 I play Sisay. What is this... "adaptive" variant? Whats the main idea of the deck?

    • @jonaswilliams9755
      @jonaswilliams9755 Год назад

      @@dcdids2011, Adaptive Sisay is the GW Captain Sisay deck on the cEDH decklist database, and I'm the author of the deck. The idea is to play to the demands of the pod and find stax, value engines, or assemble combo lines according to what is best at the time. The deck wins by assembling infinite mana and infinite untaps of your creatures, resulting in infinite Sisay tutors. From there, there are a few different legendary mana sinks to deal infinite combat damage, or draw the deck and win via Blind Obedience extortion or destroying every permanent in play and winning the following turn.

    • @dcdids2011
      @dcdids2011 Год назад

      @@jonaswilliams9755 I see. Its sorta what I imagined. I play in a casual table, so my Sisay is all about having always an answer for the board state and then win by overwhelming advantage. No infinites tho, cus its a rule of the group to not base our strategies around them.
      Gotta say tho, I want to check out your deck to see the potential of best girl. Thx for the clarification :)
