I really like Orra, but the price has definitely deterred me. Her color scheme is one of my favorites. I think she’s gorgeous and I find the whole line very pretty, but I wish they had some kind of expression to their faces. The inset eyes are so gorgeous. I just wish they were smiling a bit more? Like at least the corners of their mouths should be upturned. I definitely prefer smiling dolls, even if it’s not a full smile. For me, rainbow high does it perfectly. I really like the expressions on bratzillas too.

I only bought Kishiko. 1 of my friends has a friend in So Cal whose Target already clearanced these to 50% off def can’t wait to see that happen in my area at Target or Walmart or online since sometimes finding clearance gets scooped up rather fast here. It seems like a strange choice for mga to not give the most expensive 1 any clothes and the only accessory is earrings 🤦🏻♀️. My daughter likes the rocker 1 but the hair makes me so nervous. I wasn’t a big fan of Harmonique until friends pointed out the Jem vibes she’s giving. I really like Jordie. And even Shenelle grew on me.
I fell in love with their faces the first time I saw them and I can't wait to get one... when the prices drop a bit! But simply put, their hair and their bodies need to be made a bit more manageable!! It's such a shame that their bodies seem so awkward! Certainly if they could sit that would help and also some articulation in the tail. Not crazy about those hard plastic tails

It would be fun to be able to buy 2 of each doll; one to rebody and dress with clothes and one to keep with the tail on. But unfortunately they don’t fit in my budget right now. Waiting for a sale at Target.

I don't understand why they added a color-change gimmick that requires water if they don't want you to use the dolls in water/ as water toys... like what? Doesn't make any sense, you can tell people all you want not to submerge them in water but you're giving all the wrong signals with the marketing since they're mermaids and have water color change.

I have Jordie and Shellnelle, they are so striking! I admittedly had to put them both on MTM bodies and in my opinion fits extremely well! I renamed my Shellnelle doll to Oceana (I kinda stole that name from Mermaid High from their blue haired girl, it fits better and is way easier to say). I absolutely dislike the Mermaid High dolls/animated series, although I do admit they have very decent clothing and accessory quality. I just hate the Mermaid High faces 😐 but appreciate that they can change into humans. Just wish we could combine the best features from both lines and I truly believe then we'd have a perfect Mermaid line. I'm waiting to get Orra next, I really wish that she came with actual clothing though 🧐 Love your videos by the way 💞
She is stunning. I dont care for the hair texture though. Brooke's Kish has an interesting screening. The screening on the first batch, whose tails paint chipped off, is much superior imo.

i really like their faces, Lagoona and her fish eyes are one of my fav Monster High mold and these girls really hit that spot for me and their lips are so freaking cute like i dream lips right there lol
Mermaids and fairies are my favorite kind of dolls, too! I also love the faces on these dolls but agree that the irises could be better. The main deterrent for me with these dolls is their lack of tail articulation for sitting and poseability. Seated mermaids are so beautiful and it bums me out that Mermaze can't do that. I heard that their next release is supposed to have tail articulation, which I hope happens (and is better than Orra's), because that's the only reason I don't have any of these dolls yet.
These remind me of the Elouai Candybar Doll makers in the looks! I love the mermaid aspect but gosh I wish they had feets and more interchangeable clothing because these are some of the most gorgeous faced dolls I've ever seen and the body joints are so natural and cohesive. 😭
Excited to share that this doll is now under $20 on Amazon and target on sale!! Along with all the rest from this first release - but Orra is obviously the biggest deal since she retails for $44. Orra was always my standout favorite from the line and the show, so I'm really excited to finally have a chance to buy her for a great price! Thanks for this review!
I’m very happy that orca has some knee jointing, though I would like to have it more articulated still. I love the Mirmaze mermaids stunning faces! I’m still on the fence about their bodies… I really hope that those boxes are changed to better protect them and make and easier to unbox.

Now that they are discontinued I am sad. Honestly I think people should be more grateful for all the hard work that has went into creating these dolls. I have three coming in the mail.
The sock material on Kishikos jacket is called Ribbed material. It reminds me of what is on varsity jackets or hoodies. I think they are very pretty but I wont be getting them. Some of those accessories though! The jewellery on her and the holster on one of the other girls. They are fantastic!
I really enjoy this series, the reviewers have been as lil harsh on them, as they are hard to pose. As the Winx girls reign supreme in the winged doll category, Mermaze is the best mermaid doll around. You dont like metallic nylon?

Hey the mermaid high dolls in my location at Walmart are all $17-15 dollars right now and the mermaze dolls are $26 dollars instead of 30
